Staff Software Engineer, Field Engineering

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Field Engineering based in Ireland. We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Staff Software Engineer to help build and shape a new Field Engineering function within a fast-growing global technology environment. In this role, you will work across complex backend systems, APIs, data flows, and external integrations to solve critical technical challenges for strategic enterprise customers. You will collaborate closely with Account Management and Product teams to identify performance bottlenecks and deliver solutions that directly improve customer outcomes and business results. From optimizing pricing and inventory availability to strengthening booking reliability, your work will have a measurable impact on revenue, market share, and profitability. As an early member of the team, you will also help establish engineering practices and transform successful customer-specific solutions into scalable platform capabilities.
