Security Assessor

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Security Assessor based in the United States. We are seeking an experienced Security Assessor to support federal cybersecurity initiatives by evaluating the security, compliance, and resilience of critical information systems. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and provide actionable recommendations to strengthen organizational cybersecurity frameworks. You will apply established federal security standards, including the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and FedRAMP requirements, while assessing cloud environments, networks, applications, and IT infrastructure. Working closely with Information System Security Officers (ISSOs), engineers, system owners, and government stakeholders, you will help ensure systems meet rigorous federal security requirements.
