Senior Structural Engineer

We are looking for a structural engineer to assist in structural investigations, analyses, and repair design. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Review of structural designs for code compliance - Structural analysis, document review, and research for root cause evaluation - On-site inspections and collection of data. Note that site inspections may require multi-day travel to other parts of the country - Preparation of reports and repair details - Regular attendance in the office (located at the Wrigley Building, 410 N Michigan Ave) - Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager - 5-7 years of experience in the design and/or investigation of structures - Experience in the investigation of structural failures and/or preparation of reports for attorney clients preferred. - Licensure – EIT min. Working towards SE licensure SOCOTEC offers generous compensation packages including salary, benefits & bonus based upon relevant experience.
