ROLE: CREATOR SPECIALIST TEAM: CREATOR LOCATION: TORONTO (HYBRID) COMPANY OVERVIEW Salt is a North American marketing agency that creates connected experiences through creative, digital & media innovation. Our mission is to “Earn The World’s Attention” and Salt is built to find, develop, execute, and amplify the ideas that are worthy of our clients’ audiences. We’ve structured our agency to do what’s right for our clients – to connect different perspectives, to work across mediums, and to focus on delivering meaningful, effective results. We’re committed to living up to the values in our name. “Salt of The Earth” means we value collaborative, humble, hard-working people here. We’re looking for people who are as smart as they are kind because we believe the right talent and the right culture help us do what’s right for our clients. ROLE OVERVIEW As a Creator Specialist, you will support the execution and day-to-day coordination of creator and influencer programs across a portfolio of clients. You’re a detail-oriented, platform-fluent team member who helps bring structure to creator campaigns while ensuring content stays on-brief and organized. You will work closely with the Manager, Creator and broader team to support creator outreach, campaign execution, and content coordination — helping translate strategy into action under the guidance of your manager. This role is a great fit for someone building foundational skills in creator marketing, campaign operations, and platform expertise. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Creator Partnership & Influencer Strategy - Support influencer sourcing and outreach, maintaining accurate and up-to-date creator lists. - Build rapport with nano and micro creators, supporting relationship-building under guidance from your manager. - Support creator onboarding, ensuring documentation and communications are accurate and timely. - Provide input on creator fit based on platform relevance and brand alignment. Campaign Execution & Operations - Execute day-to-day campaign tasks, including brief routing, asset collection, and posting schedules. - Support timeline and workback tracking across multiple campaigns, flagging risks to your manager. - Support budget tracking, contract documentation, and payment processing for creator programs. - Maintain accurate records within the creator tech stack, supporting data integrity and efficient workflows. Platform & Trend Fluency - Track trends, formats, and platform updates across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other key platforms, flagging relevant moments to your team. - Apply platform knowledge to support creator selection and content format recommendations. - Contribute to internal trend-watch updates and knowledge-sharing sessions. Content & Engagement Strategy - Adapt provided content strategies into posting plans, suggesting low-lift content formats where relevant. - Support creators with content direction guidance, helping ensure outputs are on-brief and platform-appropriate. - Review content against brand and campaign guidelines, flagging quality or consistency issues. Analytics, Insights & Performance Optimization - Support the collection and organization of campaign performance data across creator programs. - Help track content and campaign performance against KPIs, flagging notable trends to your manager. - Contribute observations and insights that support future campaign optimization. Social Technology, Tools & Innovation Ecosystem - Learn and apply the team’s creator and social tech stack, supporting accurate data entry and reporting. - Stay current on new social and creator marketing tools, sharing relevant findings with your team. - Support the team in testing and adopting new platform features or tools as needed. EXPERIENCE & SKILLS - 2–3 years of experience in influencer marketing, creator marketing, or digital/social campaign coordination. - Some hands-on experience supporting creator campaigns, ideally across sourcing, execution, or reporting. - Foundational understanding of the influencer landscape, key social platforms, and creator economy dynamics. - Exposure to influencer tools, platform ad managers, or campaign reporting is an asset. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to support multiple projects at once. - Strong communication skills, with comfort supporting creator and internal team communications. - A proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn and take direction. - Collaborative team player who works well cross-functionally.
