About Scowtt
We teach the algorithms inside Google, Meta and TikTok to send you more high-quality users, based on what's happening in your CRM and data warehouse. Our unfair advantage
is how we do it: tuned to the way each algorithm learns, based on our founder's firsthand experience creating Performance Max at Google and leading the ads business at Meta.
Where we fit: the algorithms inside Google, Meta and TikTok were built for ecommerce, and Scowtt helps everyone else. Thousands of companies help advertisers optimize the open web; Scowtt helps them optimize the walled gardens.
Our buyers are CMOs, agency leaders and the performance and growth marketers who run large budgets on Google and Meta.
The role
The Content Lead runs Scowtt's content engine: the insight bank, team voices on social, a video interview series, creator collaborations and content built to be cited by AI assistants. You turn what our founder and team know about how the ad algorithms learn into content our buyers seek out.
This is a full-time contract role to start, reporting to the CRO. You will work closely with our founder, the commercial team, a PR specialist and contract video talent. Much of the job is building systems and keeping a steady rhythm: many contributors, many formats, every week.
What you will do
- Build and run an insight bank: capture what our founder, product and commercial teams learn each week and turn it into posts, clips, articles and talking points.
- Run the team posting program so several voices show the bench strength behind Scowtt. Keep a weekly calendar, draft with each person in their own voice, and keep everyone posting on rhythm.
- Produce a video interview series with agency leaders, adtech voices and CMOs, about 24 guests a year. Book guests, prepare them, run the shoots and get each episode out on time.
- Manage creator collaborations with respected performance marketing creators, from outreach and briefing to the final post.
- Turn every sit-down into one long-form piece and several short clips with captions for LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, working with a contract editor and
videographer.
- Choose which posts to boost, target them at named accounts, and report on what worked.
- Own the help center, blog and site content written to be cited by ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and other AI assistants. Keep wording consistent across every source.
- Work with our PR specialist on data stories, bylines and a flagship annual report.
- Report monthly on what's working: engagement from target accounts, team posting rhythm and how often AI assistants mention Scowtt.
What you bring
- A track record of producing strong B2B content, on your own and by directing writers, editors and video talent. You know what good looks like and can say why.
- Experience building content systems and keeping them running: calendars, workflows, review cycles and many contributors on a steady weekly rhythm.
- The presence to work as a peer with senior people. You can coach executives on their voice, interview CMOs and agency leaders, and approach outside thought leaders with
confidence.
- Deep working knowledge of LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube: what performs on each, how to boost and target posts, and how to measure the results.
- Comfort with video, from planning an interview to briefing an editor on clips.
- Curiosity about adtech and performance marketing. You don't need to know how the ad algorithms work on day one, but you need to want to learn it well enough to explain
it simply.
- Comfort using AI tools to draft, research and move faster, with the judgment to know when the output isn't good enough yet.
- Plus: experience with B2B SaaS or adtech audiences, or with writing content that AI assistants cite.
How to apply
Send a short note and examples of your work. Examples matter more than a resume. Ideally they show each of these:
- Content you produced or directed, written and video
- A content system or calendar you built and ran, and how you kept it on rhythm
- An executive or team voice program you ran on social
- A paid boost or social campaign, with how you measured it
- Work with senior or outside voices, such as interviews, podcasts or guest content
