This position is responsible for equipment processing and storage as outlined by the Respiratory Care Department to ensure regulatory compliance. - Performs cleaning, assembly, and performance testing of patient care equipment; maintains backup equipment inventory and delivers equipment to patient care units during emergent situations. - Restocks Respiratory Care supply carts and oxygen cylinders; monitors inventory levels, reorders supplies, and maintains stock and non-stock requisitions as needed. - Maintains a clean, organized, and efficient department while monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements; coordinates with Clinical Engineering and Plant Engineering to facilitate preventive maintenance, battery maintenance, and equipment repairs. - Performs monthly inspections of facility public AEDs, identifies needed repairs or supplies, and notifies the Manager of inventory or maintenance needs. Performs all duties in a self-directed manner. What’s Required - HS Diploma or GED - 3 years of healthcare experience OR actively enrolled in an accredited respiratory care program Schedule: Full time, Variable Shift, Every other weekend rotation Are you Munson Material?
