About Sunrise Group
Sunrise Group is building the future of sleep health by combining breakthrough technology with expert care. We started in 2015 with a straightforward idea: sleep diagnosis should happen in the comfort of your own home, not in a hospital. To make that possible, we created a first-of-its-kind chin sensor, carefully validated through clinical research, reviewed by leading sleep experts, and cleared by the FDA.
Since then, Sunrise Group has grown from a single innovation into a complete sleep health company. We now design advanced diagnostic and treatment solutions, and we deliver care directly to patients through Dreem Health, our digital sleep clinic. By serving patients in all 50 states with reimbursed care, we are making sleep treatment more accessible, more personal, and much simpler than it has ever been.
Your Opportunity
We are hiring a Clinical Capacity & Workforce Planning Lead to ensure we always have enough licensed, credentialed providers in the right states to meet patient demand and support our growth. Within Clinical Operations, you’ll own provider supply strategy across all 50 states, translating growth plans into provider needs so new providers are recruited, licensed, credentialed, and onboarded before demand arrives, not after patients are already waiting.
You’ll partner with Growth, HR, and Credentialing & Licensing to forecast demand surges, time hiring, and prioritize licensing where growth is fastest, while also overseeing daily coverage such as leave approvals and agenda availability. Using dashboards and capacity forecasts, you’ll build the systems that shape patient access, provider workload, service continuity, revenue, and how quickly we expand into new states. This is a capacity architecture role, not calendar coordination, and it’s ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex operational puzzles and building systems that scale.
At Sunrise Group, our mission is to make sleep disorder diagnosis and care easier to access, and we offer the autonomy, impact, and fast-moving, collaborative culture to make that happen.
What You’ll Do
- Growth-Driven Workforce Planning
- Partner with Growth to understand target states, expansion timelines and expected patient volumes.
- Translate growth plans into provider needs by state, license type and timing.
- Build and maintain a state-by-state provider supply plan (current coverage, gaps, pipeline).
- Flag early when growth plans exceed available or planned provider capacity.
- Recruitment, Licensing & Credentialing Coordination
- Define hiring needs by state and partner with HR to launch recruitment of providers with the right licenses.
- Coordinate with credentialing and licensing teams to prioritize applications based on growth priorities.
- Track the provider pipeline from offer to licensing, credentialing and first available appointment.
- Work with the provider team to monitor new hires’ onboarding readiness (training, system access, scheduling setup) and act quickly on any blocker, so new providers can start seeing patients without delay.
- Identify the most efficient license strategy to support expansion.
- Demand & Capacity Planning
- Analyze provider utilization by state.
- Identify bottlenecks and demand surges early.
- Forecast when additional providers are needed.
- Monitor appointment wait times and coverage gaps.
- Daily Coverage Oversight
- Review and approve provider leave requests while ensuring minimum service coverage.
- Ensure clinical calendars are open in line with demand forecasts.
- Coordinate with Care Coordination to minimize patient impact during provider absences.
- Monitor daily coverage gaps and escalate when service levels are at risk.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in clinical operations, workforce planning, or scheduling management, recruitment / licensing coordination.
- Knowledge of US provider licensing and credentialing (state licenses, compacts, payer enrollment) is a strong plus.
- Experienced in high-growth or fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical and systems thinker.
- Confident in making decisions balancing human and business needs.
- Excellent communicator, able to align Growth, HR and Credentialing teams around shared priorities.
- Exceptional organizational and stakeholder-management skills.
- Genuine interest in sleep, health, and helping people better understand and improve their well-being.
