This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Engineering Specialist I – Kafka & AWS based in Brazil. Join a senior engineering team building a new planning and demand management platform that supports Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes. You will play a key role in designing and evolving the platform's data infrastructure, managing the full data lifecycle from event ingestion to processing, business rule application, routing, and distribution. Working with Kafka, AWS, PostgreSQL, and modern data architectures, you will help build scalable and reliable data solutions. This is a product still taking shape, offering opportunities to influence technical decisions and contribute to both technical and business discovery. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders in an environment that values autonomy, adaptability, and continuous improvement. As part of an AI-first team, you will also use generative AI tools thoughtfully to improve development workflows and productivity.
