Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with statutory and tax requirements, and supporting the overall financial integrity and operational efficiency of the organization. As a trusted finance professional, you will contribute to monthly and year-end closing activities, prepare financial statements, support audits, and provide expertise in corporate tax, transfer pricing, and financial reporting. As an Accountant, your responsibilities may include: - Managing and contributing to the monthly and year-end closing process. - Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records. - Preparing and supporting statutory, internal, and external audits, including general ledger reconciliations and documentation. - Preparing corporate income tax returns and ensuring compliance with related reporting requirements. - Preparing annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. - Compiling and presenting Economic and Financial Information (EFI) to the Works Council. - Managing intercompany transfer pricing activities and supporting compliance initiatives. - Supporting due diligence projects and contributing to the development and improvement of finance policies and procedures. - Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality and environmental management standards. - Recording and processing financial transactions, including invoices and journal entries.
