Mechanical Designer intern

GCM understands the challenges companies face when it comes to the skills and experience needed to fill the void of the day to day function.  Organizations need to reduce training and labor costs but at same requiring the best "talent " for the job.  Mechanical Designer  must be interning with AAS student in Mechanical Design/CAD (or similar) with minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 Mechanical Designer requires: - Experience with CAD applications (NX preferred) and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, molding, forming, etc) a plusMechanical Designer  duties: - Use NX to design mechanical parts and assemblies and create drawing - Work with team to brainstorm ideas and select optimum design concept - Work with internal model shop / buyers to procure prototype parts - Install/assemble prototype parts for design validation $20/HR 6 months
