Product Designer

We are looking for a Product Designer who will` stand up for our learners and shape how millions of developers experience Educative. If you care about customer pain points and love turning them into designs people enjoy using, I’d like to hear from you. Responsibilities - Advocate for the customer experience (CX) and keep pushing to make it more useful, enjoyable, and accessible. - Dig into customer pain points and turn them into design improvements. - Sync with product managers on customer feedback and the product roadmap, then work with engineering to bring designs to life. - Set design requirements based on input from internal teams and user research. - Create concepts and wireframes, and deliver high-quality designs and prototypes through testing, experimentation, and development. - Present and defend your design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership. - Work within our existing design system, with the freedom to push it further. - Bring new, impactful ideas and raise the design quality at Educative. Requirements: - 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer, ideally on complex or enterprise-level software. - A design degree in VCD, UX, Fine Arts, Interaction Design, or CS with a focus on HCI, or equivalent relevant experience. - Familiarity with UX research and the ability to collect and interpret both qualitative and quantitative feedback. - Proven experience across the full design process: user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing. - An excellent eye for visual design and the ability to help fellow designers. - A versatile portfolio that shows deep interaction and visual design skills. - Strong collaboration skills across functions. - Creative problem-solving skills and a habit of asking how things could be better. - Excellent documentation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain your design vision and rationale to any audience, from fellow designers to leadership.
