About the role
You own one operational process end to end across the whole region — not one country, and not one project. You define how that process should run in a dark store, prove it with data, and drive it into every store in the region through the country teams. This is a diagnosis-and-design role: the measure of success is a standard that holds in every market, not a report.

Key Responsibilities:
Own a process domain across 11 markets
- Own one domain — inventory and availability, or fulfilment and performance — including its operating standard, SOPs and targets.
- Translate that standard into something a store can execute on a shift and a country can audit.Measure and diagnose
- Own your domain's metrics inside the regional framework: definition, source, frequency, target and a named owner in every market.
- Work store-level data to find root cause, not to restate the headline. Splitting order cycle time into accept / pick / pack, or stockouts into operations versus system, is the job.
- Turn a headline number — defect rate, stockout rate, cycle time, cost per order — into a specific, fixable cause with an owner.Benchmark and design the improvement
- Set what "good" looks like from inside (our own fastest-performing stores) and outside (other dark-store and quick-commerce operators).
- Design repeatable, quantifiable improvements — layout and walk paths, slotting, batching, cycle counts, shelf-life and rotation, shift planning, rider handover — and pilot before you scale.Deploy through the countries
- Work through country ops heads and their in-store and fulfilment leads. Run process clinics, support rollout, and verify adoption through audit rather than self-reporting.
- Run a regular review rhythm with your assigned markets and track commitments to closure.Shape the tools
- Define what your process needs from product and data — picker performance dashboards, not-found logging, handover verification, capacity-aware ordering, shift planning — and prioritise it with Product. What success looks like in 12 months
- Your domain's metrics are defined, live and owned in all 11 markets.
- At least one headline metric has moved, and you can show why.
- The standard holds without you in the room, evidenced by audit scores.
- 7+ years in operations, process improvement, supply chain or consulting. Quick commerce, grocery retail, e-commerce fulfilment or warehouse operations preferred.
- Strong analytics: SQL or advanced Excel and BI tools. You build the model and defend it.
- Structured problem-solving — Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent. Certification is a plus, not a requirement.
- A track record of improvements that were measured and that lasted after you moved on.
- Comfortable on a store floor. Most of the answer is there, not in a dashboard.
- Influence without authority, across markets and cultures. Clear written and spoken English.
- Willing to travel roughly 25%.Nice to have: dark store or micro-fulfilment experience; WMS or inventory systems.
