Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer based in United States . The Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer will design, implement, automate, and support secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure within an enterprise Azure environment. Working under the direction of a Principal Azure Architect, you will lead complex technical workstreams and contribute to cloud architecture, modernization, and operational excellence. The role spans Azure networking, virtual desktop infrastructure, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps automation, data services, and emerging AI and machine learning capabilities. You will collaborate with architecture, security, application, infrastructure, and data teams to deliver reliable solutions that meet business and technical requirements. This hands-on position also involves troubleshooting critical production issues, strengthening governance and business continuity, and improving cloud performance and cost efficiency. You will contribute to engineering standards while mentoring colleagues and promoting consistent practices across the team.
