ABOUT POINTFIVE
PointFive finds the cost buried inside enterprise infrastructure, from the cloud to coding agents. We pioneered DeepWaste across cloud and data platforms, and we are now doing the same for AI token spend with TokenShift.
Fanatics, H&M, Hertz, Nubank, Citizens Bank and other Fortune 500 companies use PointFive to see and cut what their infrastructure and AI actually cost.
We have raised $96 million, most recently a $60 million Series B led by Accel https://www.pointfive.co/press/pointfive-raises-60m-series-b. Engineering sits in Tel Aviv and our go-to-market team is focused on North America. PointFive Labs, our research arm, publishes original work on how infrastructure and AI actually get paid for.
CRN named us one of the 10 hottest cloud computing startups of 2026 https://www.crn.com/news/cloud/2026/the-10-hottest-cloud-computing-startups-of-2026-so-far?page=9, Forbes Israel put us on its Next Billion Dollar Startups list https://forbes.co.il/rankings/2025nextbilliondollarstartups/, and Redpoint selected us for its InfraRed 100 https://www.pointfive.co/press/pointfive-infrared-100, its ranking of the private companies shaping the future of cloud infrastructure.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on creator role. You will make most of what PointFive publishes on social yourself: short video, carousels, infographics and posts, the stories our research turns into, and the posts our founders and our people put their names on.
You will build the organic engine underneath our growth. That means growing the audience for PointFive and our leaders on LinkedIn and X, and bringing more of the right people to our website. When someone asks a colleague, a search engine or an AI assistant about infrastructure and AI cost, the answer they find should be ours, and it should be good.
PointFive Labs, product and leadership bring the findings and the expertise. You turn them into things people read, share and cite. This is an in-house role in Tel Aviv: you sit with our founders and researchers and get to know the company properly, not work at arm's length like an agency.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Create social-native content end to end: short video, carousels, infographics and posts, made by you.
- Turn PointFive Labs research into stories and visuals: launch posts, short videos, data-driven threads, charts people screenshot and report narratives that press and practitioners repeat.
- Own PointFive's growth on LinkedIn and X: grow the audience, learn which formats travel on each, and keep a voice that sounds like people, not a brand account. Run a weekly rhythm across the company page, our founders and the engineers who post.
- Build an executive voice. Work with our founders and leaders to find their point of view, shape it, and help them post consistently in their own words.
- Build employee voice. Make it easy and appealing for our engineers, researchers and sellers to share their work and ours, without it ever feeling like a mandate.
- Make what we publish easy for search and AI answer engines to find, trust and cite: original data, clear structure and answers to the questions buyers actually ask.
- Write for the website too: blog posts, research pages and answers that bring people to PointFive and give them a reason to stay.
- Work hand in hand with our VP Marketing. Their ideas need words, and your stories need big moments.
- Watch what travels on each channel, double down on it and drop what doesn't. You know your numbers without living in a dashboard.
THE KIND OF BRIEFS YOU'LL GET
- Labs just finished a study on how companies really spend on coding agents. Turn it into a launch post, a short video, a carousel and 3 charts people will share.
- Our CTO has a strong take on a new hyperscaler pricing change. Get it out in his voice by tomorrow morning.
- One of our engineers found something clever in a customer environment. Help them write it up so other engineers learn from it, with our name on it.
- Buyers keep asking AI assistants which tools find cloud waste. Make sure the answer includes us, and that it's accurate.
- Everyone writes about this technical topic the same boring way. Write the version people actually finish.
YOU MIGHT BE THE PERSON IF
- You have 3+ years creating content for social at a B2B or tech company.
- You make social content yourself across formats (video, carousels, infographics, posts), and you have a portfolio to show for it.
- You write well in English, from a sharp post to a long blog piece.
- You have turned someone else's research or data into something people shared, and you can point to it.
- You have grown a following from a small base at a B2B startup, for the company or a founder, and you can explain exactly how the first 1,000 followers arrived.
- You are active on LinkedIn and/or X and know why some posts travel and others die.
- You can interview an expert for 20 minutes and come out with a post that sounds like them, not like you.
- You understand how search and answer engines pick their sources, and you write with that in mind without writing for robots.
- You have done the work yourself, not only edited it or briefed others.
- You ship often and you are fine when some pieces land flat.
You don't need every one of these. Show us you can own this.
To apply, send a portfolio along with your CV. LinkedIn posts, links or work from a past company all count.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU
- Have written technical content for engineers or FinOps practitioners, ideally in cloud, FinOps, security, dev tools or AI infrastructure.
- Can pull and chart data yourself, or vibecode an interactive version of a piece.
- Use AI in a real writing and research workflow, not only for first drafts.
THIS PROBABLY ISN'T FOR YOU IF
- You want to run a calendar of keyword-stuffed SEO posts.
- You see social as scheduling and reporting rather than making things.
- You mostly manage freelancers and agencies rather than create the work yourself.
WHAT YOU MIGHT NOT LOVE
- You are the first person doing this at PointFive. There is no style guide, no template library and no content team underneath you.
- Accuracy matters. Researchers and engineers will review your work, and sometimes they will push back hard.
- Writing in other people's voices means some of your best lines will carry someone else's name.
- Research takes as long as it takes, and your launch date sometimes moves with it.
YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS
Days 1 to 30: You know the product, the research and the people. You have interviewed our founders, PointFive Labs and a few customers, and you have published your first pieces, including at least one in a leader's voice.
Days 31 to 60: A steady publishing rhythm is running across our blog, LinkedIn and X. Our founders are posting regularly in their own voice. One piece of Labs research has become a full story across every channel.
Days 61 to 90: Employee voice is live and people are actually using it. You know which formats and topics travel for us, and you are doubling down on them. Our LinkedIn and X audiences are growing month over month, and you can explain why.
HOW WE'LL KNOW IT'S WORKING
- More people follow, read and share PointFive and our leaders, month over month.
- Practitioners and press quote and link our research without being pitched.
- AI answer engines cite PointFive when buyers ask about infrastructure and AI cost.
- A growing share of our website visits starts with something we published.
- Organic channels bring in a growing share of the people who find us.
- Our people share our work because they want to.
WHY POINTFIVE
- Founders with a track record: Built and sold IntSights to Rapid7. Backed by top-tier investors with deep conviction in this category.
- You will never run out of things worth writing about. PointFive Labs publishes original data nobody else has, and you get it first.
- Early-stage leverage: Your work directly shapes how the market understands a category that is still being defined.
- Direct access to founders and leadership and room to publish without layers of approval.
- Credit for the work, and a byline when it's yours.
