EXPERIENCED SEASONAL TAX PROFESSIONAL - KANSAS LOCATIONS Join our Seasonal Tax Team and be the "who" Behind the Change! At SJHL, we're redefining tax season through our Path to 45 journey, where our team works, on average, just 45 hours per week during tax season. We're looking for experienced tax professionals to join us seasonally and help make that vision a reality. This seasonal position can be based in any of our Kansas office locations, including Wichita, Hutchinson, McPherson, Manhattan, Salina, and Topeka. WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE  - Genuinely enjoys tax work (yes, those people exist, and we love them!) - Has at least 5 years of recent public accounting tax experience - Likes digging into tax issues and figuring out the best path forward - Values building relationships with clients and serving as a trusted advisor - Enjoys collaborating with teammates and sharing knowledge - Appreciates flexibility while remaining accountable to deadlines - Wants to help us redefine tax season through our Path to 45 journey THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL DO - Prepare (possibly review depending upon experience level) business and individual income tax returns - Identify and research tax issues applicable to client transactions - Help grow other team members by spending time with them and knowledge sharing - Assist with client questions and provide responsive service POSITION DETAILS - Seasonal employment from late January through April 15ish - Full-time and 3/4 schedules available - Opportunity to work from any SJHL Kansas office location - hybrid is an option, too.
