Project Biologist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Biologist based in the United States. As a Project Biologist, you will help protect local wildlife and sensitive habitats during vegetation clearing and related project activities. In this remote, part-time, on-call role, you will conduct biological and avian surveys to identify protected species, nests, and other wildlife habitats in or near designated work areas. You will assess potential environmental risks, recommend appropriate mitigation measures, and help prevent harm to trees, root systems, and wildlife. Working in coordination with project teams, you will provide on-site oversight during tree-clearing activities and respond when wildlife rescue is necessary. Your expertise will support regulatory compliance and responsible project execution while helping safeguard local ecosystems.
