As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service. Key Duties Include: - Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy - Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!) - Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time - Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently - Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment - Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly - Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives - Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shiftYou'll Receive: Full training from Day 1 and all required uniform and PPE What You Bring to the Team - The Hustle: You’ve got a strong work ethic  and love hitting targets. - Team Player: You love working as part of a close knit supportive team  - Reliability: You show up and give it 100%. - Values: You’re honest, respectful, and care about the service you provide. - Physicality: You’re comfortable lifting and staying on your feet.DPD is a Disability Confident Employer and a member of the Valuable 500.
