About the role
CRMCustomer Success
About LumiMeds
LumiMeds is a fast-growing U.S.-based telehealth startup focused on weight management and long-term metabolic health. We are building the next generation of e-commerce and clinical infrastructure from the ground up.
As an early-stage company, we move quickly, operate with limited layers, and expect high ownership from every team member. There is no bureaucracy here — decisions happen fast, priorities evolve, and builders thrive.
We are a remote-first, globally distributed team that values clarity, accountability, and people who take initiative rather than wait for direction.
Location: Remote – Open to candidates based in Latin America, Eastern Europe, or South Africa.
Sales Manager (B2C)
About the Role
This isn't a "manage the team and send a weekly report" role.
We're looking for a hands-on Sales Manager who understands the full lifecycle of a B2C lead — from initial interest and first contact through follow-up, conversion, and enrollment.
You'll lead a remote team of B2C Sales Representatives responsible for engaging prospective patients across multiple communication channels and converting them into active LumiMeds members.
You should understand how leads behave at different stages of the sales funnel, how follow-up strategy changes depending on customer intent, and how to identify where potential customers are dropping off.
Experience in high-volume digital consumer environments — such as e-commerce, DTC, subscription businesses, telehealth, or similar models — will be particularly valuable.
You'll own team performance, optimize the sales process, improve conversion rates, and help build the playbooks that will scale the business.
If you need a fully developed process before you can succeed, this isn't the right opportunity.
What You'll Own
- Lead, coach, and develop a remote team of B2C Sales Representatives through daily coaching, conversation reviews, and performance management.
- Own the complete lead lifecycle, from initial contact through follow-up, conversion, and enrollment.
- Develop follow-up strategies for leads at different stages of the sales funnel, including new, engaged, undecided, inactive, and reactivation opportunities.
- Manage customer engagement across multiple communication channels, including phone, SMS, email, and other digital channels.
- Analyze the customer journey and sales funnel to identify bottlenecks, drop-off points, and opportunities to improve conversion.
- Build and continuously refine sales scripts, objection-handling frameworks, follow-up cadences, and coaching materials.
- Establish clear daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs around response time, contact rate, follow-up activity, conversion, and team performance.
- Monitor CRM hygiene, pipeline health, lead aging, and forecasting accuracy.
- Partner closely with Marketing to understand lead sources, campaign performance, lead quality, and customer acquisition efficiency.
- Collaborate with Operations and Customer Success to ensure a seamless customer experience from first contact through enrollment.
- Use AI tools and automation to improve lead management, coaching, reporting, sales productivity, and operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of B2C sales experience with at least 2+ years leading high-performing sales teams.
- Proven experience personally closing consumer sales — not just managing others.
- Experience managing the full lifecycle of high-volume B2C leads across multiple stages of the sales funnel.
- Strong understanding of lead prioritization, follow-up cadences, pipeline management, and reactivation strategies.
- Experience engaging and converting customers through multiple channels such as phone, SMS, email, chat, or other digital channels.
- Strong track record improving conversion rates through coaching, process optimization, and data-driven decision making.
- Experience in digital consumer businesses with sales journeys similar to e-commerce, DTC, subscription, marketplace, or online service models.
- Comfortable analyzing funnel metrics such as response time, contact rate, lead aging, stage conversion, drop-off, and overall lead-to-customer conversion.
- Experience building or rebuilding sales processes from the ground up.
- Strong understanding of CRM management, pipeline forecasting, and sales reporting.
- Experience with telehealth, healthcare, healthtech, wellness, DTC, e-commerce, or subscription businesses is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve sales coaching, reporting, prospect engagement, or operational efficiency.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup where priorities evolve quickly.
- Excellent English communication skills and availability during U.S. business hours.
What Success Looks Like at 90 Days
- Team consistently achieves or exceeds conversion targets.
- Lead-to-patient conversion has measurably improved across key funnel stages.
- Leads receive timely and consistent follow-up based on their stage, intent, and previous interactions.
- Response times and lead aging have significantly improved.
- Multi-channel follow-up cadences are documented and consistently executed.
- Sales Representatives have clear KPIs, coaching plans, and performance accountability.
- Pipeline reporting clearly identifies conversion, drop-off, and reactivation opportunities.
- Reactivation campaigns are generating measurable revenue.
- Sales and Marketing have clear visibility into lead quality and funnel performance.
- The sales team operates with a high-performance, customer-first culture.
