About MDOTM MDOTM is a global leading provider of AI-driven investment solutions, growing across our offices in London, Milan, and New York. We recently closed a $27M growth equity round, led by Expedition Growth Capital, to support our continued international expansion. Our proprietary platform, Sphere, currently supports over $100B in assets under management for institutional clients including Morgan Stanley, Amundi, and Zurich Bank. If you are looking for a fast-paced environment and are willing to take ownership, this is the right opportunity for you! Role Overview You will work at the intersection of client delivery, operations, market research, and financial markets, helping asset managers, wealth managers, and banks adopt and get value from Sphere, MDOTM's AI-driven investment platform. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to understand how investment professionals build and monitor portfolios, connect their needs with relevant Sphere use cases, and support the delivery of projects and commercial initiatives. We are looking for early-career professionals who have already worked with or inside asset management, wealth management, private banking, or investment-focused fintech, and who can speak the language of portfolio managers, advisors, and investment committees from day one. Key Responsibilities - Project Management & Delivery: Manage client onboarding and implementation projects from kickoff to go-live, coordinating timelines, requirements, and deliverables with investment teams, CIO offices, and advisory networks. - Client Relationship Management: Act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients such as asset managers, private banks, wealth managers, and family offices, understanding their investment processes and mapping them to Sphere's capabilities (portfolio construction, risk analysis, model portfolios, fund selection, and reporting). - Business Development Support: Support commercial initiatives through prospect research, competitive analysis of the investment tech landscape, and preparation of client-facing materials, demos, and proposals. - Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with product, quantitative research, and engineering teams to translate client feedback into clear requirements and resolve issues quickly. - Market & Industry Research: Monitor financial markets, asset and wealth management trends, and regulatory developments (e.g. MiFID II, SFDR/ESG) to identify new use cases for Sphere. - Process Improvement & Documentation: Improve delivery processes and maintain accurate project documentation, client reporting, and internal knowledge resources. Requirements - 1-3 years of experience as operations specialist in one of the following: an asset manager, wealth manager, private bank, fund distributor, investment consultancy, or a fintech/wealthtech company serving these clients. - Understanding of investment products and of how asset and wealth management firms operate, including their clients, workflows, and pain points. - Familiarity with industry tools and data providers (e.g. Bloomberg, Morningstar, FactSet, or similar) is a strong plus. - Awareness of the regulatory context affecting investment firms (MiFID II, suitability, ESG/SFDR) is a plus. - Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple client priorities. - Excellent communication skills and confidence in speaking with investment professionals. - Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems. - Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field. Why Join Us? - Work at the leading edge of technology, leveraging our decade of experience in proprietary AI to build the next generation of industry-defining tools. - Competitive salary & truly flexible work environment. - Benefit from an unlimited learning and development budget to stay at the bleeding edge of AI research, alongside a fast-track path into technical leadership or principal research roles. - Collaborate daily with an ultra-international team (18+ nationalities) spread across our offices in Milan, London and New York. - Annual company retreat at a stunning location. - Fast-track career progression, with opportunities to grow into leadership roles.
