HADRIAN - MANUFACTURING THE FUTURE Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America. By combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we help aerospace and defense companies build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost. Following our $1.37B Series D at a $7.87B valuation, Hadrian is rapidly expanding our manufacturing footprint, launching new capabilities across welding, casting, forging, electronics, additive manufacturing, and more, while scaling our Factory-as-a-Service platform to transform how critical products are built. Backed by leading investors including JPMorgan Chase, Valor Equity Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, 137 Ventures, Lux Capital, T. Rowe Price, and Morgan Stanley, we’re building the future of American manufacturing—and looking for exceptional people to help make it happen. If you’re ready to take on the most challenging and rewarding work of your career while helping create American manufacturing jobs for generations to come, you’re exactly who we’re looking for. THE ROLE: Hadrian is growing fast, and how we share knowledge, make decisions, and communicate is as much a part of what we’re building as anything on the factory floor. We’re looking for an Internal Communications Partner who sees the organization itself as a product, with every employee as a user, and wants to help design how it works. You’re AI forward by default. You’ll think about internal content the way a great product team thinks about product documentation: built around real users, held to a high quality bar, and always current. You’ll shape how information gets created, found, and kept up to date across the company, and set the standards and systems everyone else builds on. This is a chance to define what great looks like from the ground up, at a company where the pace and the stakes are high. You’ll lead the core work of internal comms (announcements, change comms, leadership messaging), and you’ll also build the system underneath it, shaping how Hadrian communicates as it scales. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Own our internal knowledge base as a product. Understand what users need, keep a roadmap and backlog, and organize content around how people look for it, not around our org chart. - Set the standards for internal content (style guides, templates, page types, metadata, and ownership conventions), the same way a docs team sets standards for product documentation. - Run the full content lifecycle from intake to retirement, and build the freshness model behind it: clear owners, review dates, and triggers that flag content when a policy, process, system, or org change makes it out of date. - Tie content updates to the moments that cause change, like launches, policy updates, reorgs, and tool rollouts, so docs ship with the change instead of weeks after it. - Audit and consolidate what we already have. Cut duplicates, retire what's dead, and establish one source of truth for the things that matter. - Stay on top of the latest AI tools for writing, knowledge management, search, and automation. Use them to scale the work, from drafting and personalizing comms to catching stale or conflicting content to building workflows and agents that take manual upkeep off people's plates. - Structure our content so AI assistants and search tools can actually use it well. Partner with our Enterprise Eng/Builder Tools team and system owners on rollouts, and be the person who turns "we built this" into "everyone uses this." - Lead change comms and enablement for new tools and ways of working. Build a network of content owners and champions across teams, and make it easy for subject matter experts to keep their own content current. - Partner with leaders on company-wide announcements, change communications, and key narratives. - Simplify our channel strategy so the right information goes to the right place and stays consistent with external messaging. - Measure what's working (search success, freshness, time to find an answer, repeat questions to People and IT, adoption) and use it to decide what to fix next. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR - 5+ years in internal communications, knowledge management, content strategy or operations, technical writing, or product documentation, ideally at a fast-growing tech company. - You've owned a knowledge base, intranet, help center, or documentation set end to end, including its structure, standards, governance, and upkeep, and built process around it that people actually follow. - A product mindset. You think in terms of users, problems, prioritization, and iteration, and you use a few meaningful metrics to decide what to work on. - Hands-on, everyday use of AI tools, plus a track record of bringing new tools into a company and driving adoption across teams or locations. Bonus if you've built your own workflows, automations, or agents. - Strong, clear writing across formats, from a leadership announcement to a how-to page to a two-line Slack update, plus experience with tools like Confluence, Notion, Guru, Glean, or Slack. WHAT WILL SET YOU APART - Background on a docs, customer support enablement, or product content team, or experience structuring content for AI search and assistants. - Experience in a hardware, manufacturing, or other operationally complex environment. COMPENSATION For this role, the target salary range is 140,000 - 205,000 (actual range may vary based on experience). This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
