Part Time Nanny – Austin, TX A welcoming family in Austin, TX 78721 (Central Austin area) is seeking a dependable part-time nanny to care for their 2-year-old boy and 3-month-old girl. The ideal caregiver will maintain the children's daily routines while creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. Schedule: - Monday through Thursday (open to Tue-Fri based on nanny availability) - 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (24 hours per week) - Start Date: December 22, 2026 (flexible - can start before or after 12/22) Family Specifications: - Household includes a small dog (requires minimal interaction/assistance) - Family values consistency with daily nap, feeding, and play schedules Responsibilities: - Provide direct care for both children, following their established routines (bottle feedings, mealtime, naps, and play) - Take the children on outdoor walks and trips to the neighborhood park - Prepare meals and snacks for the children - Handle mealtime setup and cleanup, including washing dishes and baby bottles - Perform light laundry related to the children - Keep play and living areas tidy throughout and at the end of the day - Assist occasionally with minimal care for the family's small dog Requirements: - Proven experience caring for both infants and toddlers - Prior nannying experience - Comfortable being outside for extended periods (parks, outdoor activities) Preferred: - Brazilian Portuguese fluency preferred (to support the family's bilingual household environment) Compensation: - $23-25 per hour (commensurate with experience) All candidates will be subject to a background check.
