Part Time Infant Nanny – Santa Clara, CA A welcoming family in Santa Clara is seeking an experienced, nurturing part-time nanny to care for their 10-week-old infant during the late afternoon and evening hours. This family has a vaccination policy in place, which will be discussed directly with the candidate. Schedule: - Monday – Thursday, approximately 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM - Approximately 16 hours per week - Start date: ASAP / November 2026 Family Specifications: - Smoke-free home - Pet-free household - Collaborative home environment focused on safe sleep and gentle infant routines Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive infant care, including diapering, soothing, age-appropriate developmental play, and bedtime routines - Administer responsive, paced bottle feeding following reflux-friendly techniques (avoiding snack-feeding without forcing bottle completion) - Support safe sleep practices (strictly flat on back in the bassinet) and gentle, age-appropriate sleep shaping and bassinet transfers (no cry-it-out) - Wash and sanitize bottles according to the family's preferred routine during nap times - Maintain and tidy baby-specific items and nursery areas Requirements: - Demonstrated professional experience caring for newborns and young infants (0–6 months) - Experience with paced bottle feeding and reflux management - Experience with gentle bassinet sleep transfers - Current Infant CPR and First Aid certifications - Verifiable professional childcare references Compensation: - $30–$36 per hour All candidates will be subject to a background check.
