Why Work With Paragon
● Statewide Reach - Deliver care where it’s needed most. We’re not region-limited—serve
communities across Colorado, including rural and frontier areas with limited access to
care.
● Flexibility & Work–Life Balance - Own your schedule. Partner with families to set visit
times that work for them (and you), so you can enjoy Colorado’s trails, slopes, and
sunshine during off-peak hours.
● Clinical Leadership & Support - Clinicians lead here. Our executive team includes
licensed providers who shape business decisions with a care-first lens. We provide
licensure supervision and regular consultation to support your growth as a clinician.
● Comprehensive, Company-Paid Benefits - We cover health, dental, vision, short- and
long-term disability, and life insurance—company-paid—so there are no premium
deductions from your paycheck. Keep your full salary and your peace of mind.
● Career Growth Opportunities - Grow with us. Explore new modalities and
specializations and advance into leadership as we expand statewide.
Position summary
The IT Support Specialist is Paragon's hands-on technology generalist. You are the first stop for
staff who need help, the person who sets up (and retires) every device and account, and the
first responder when something looks like a security problem. You will work across Google
Workspace, Windows and Chromebook devices, mobile phones, VoIP, and office networks at
multiple sites, with the CTO as your escalation point. The role is remote-first, with 1–2 days a
week in our Lakewood office to handle laptops and phones as staff join and leave. This is a
great fit for someone with a couple of years of help-desk experience who wants broader
ownership than a Tier 1 queue.
What you will do
Help desk and end-user support
● Own the support ticket queue: triage, resolve, escalate, and close tickets with clear
documentation.
● Troubleshoot hardware, software, printing, email, and connectivity issues for staff in person
and remotely.
● Guide staff through password resets, 2-Step Verification and passkey setup, and login
problems.
● Write short how-to guides and FAQs so common issues stop generating tickets.
Accounts, identity, and access
● Create, modify, suspend, and offboard accounts in Google Workspace (our primary platform)
and Microsoft 365.
● Run onboarding and offboarding checklists: licenses, groups, shared drives, email
forwarding, device return.
● Audit for inactive accounts and remove access promptly when staff leave.
● Help roll out and support passkeys and multi-factor authentication (MFA) across the
organization.
Devices and hardware
● Image, configure, deploy, and retire Windows laptops (BitLocker, Google Credential Provider
for Windows) and Chromebooks (enterprise enrollment).
● Manage mobile devices through Apple Business Manager and T-Mobile, including line
activations, suspensions, and cancellations.
● Set up and support printers, monitors, docking stations, and conference-room equipment.
● Maintain the hardware asset inventory and run periodic audits.
● Securely decommission equipment, including drive wiping or destruction, with
documentation.
Security and incident response
● Serve as first responder on phishing reports and suspicious logins: contain the account,
reset credentials, block senders, and pull audit logs.
● Gather and preserve evidence for the Security Officer during incidents.
● Run routine security reports (login activity, admin changes, external sharing) and flag
anomalies.
● Support HIPAA compliance: track vendor Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) and
assist with annual risk analysis evidence.
Network, internet, and phones
● Coordinate internet installs and moves for new or relocated offices with Comcast/Xfinity,
Starlink, and T-Mobile.
● Perform basic on-site network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, switches, Ubiquiti UniFi).
● Support our VoIP and fax platforms (Dialpad, Faxage): user setup, call routing, device
issues.
Software and vendors
● Vet requests for new software or browser extensions for security, legitimacy, and HIPAA fit
before approval.
● Track software licenses and renewals; keep the systems inventory current.
● Act as the day-to-day contact for IT vendors and carriers.
Qualifications
Required
● 2+ years in an IT support, help desk, or desktop support role.
● Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace (Admin console, user and device
management); familiarity with Microsoft 365.
● Comfortable supporting Windows and ChromeOS; basic macOS and iOS.
● Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and VoIP phone
systems.
● Understanding of security basics: phishing, MFA/passkeys, least privilege, device
encryption.
● Familiarity with HIPAA and the handling of protected health information (PHI), or the ability
to complete training within 90 days of hire.
● Strong written and verbal communication — you can explain technical steps to clinical staff
who are not technical.
● Organized and self-directed; you keep tickets, inventories, and documentation current
without being asked.
● Valid Colorado driver's license and reliable transportation for office days and occasional site
visits (mileage reimbursed).
● Ability to lift and move equipment up to about 40 lbs.
● High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in a technology
field, or equivalent experience, preferred.
Preferred
● Google Professional Workspace Administrator, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or similar
certification.
● Experience with Ubiquiti UniFi, Apple Business Manager, Dialpad, or an IT ticketing system.
● Scripting or automation basics (Google Apps Script, PowerShell).
● Prior work in behavioral health, healthcare, or another HIPAA-regulated environment.
● Experience supporting a multi-site or nonprofit organization.
Job Details
● Status: Full-time-Exempt
● Reports to: Chief Technology Officer
● Schedule: Monday–Friday, business hours; occasional after-hours work for maintenance
windows or incidents
● Location: Remote-first (Denver metro area). In the Lakewood office 1–2 days per week
to prepare, wipe, and ship laptops and mobile devices; travel to other Paragon sites (up
to a couple hours away) a handful of times per year
● Salary range: $75,000-$83,000 yearly
Benefits
● 401(k) retirement plan
● Health, Dental and Vision insurance
● DTO, Paid Holidays and Sick Leave
● Colorado FAMLI paid family and medical leave

● Mission-driven work with a team that values the people behind the technology
