Android Developer

Job Title: Android Developer Contract duration: 11 Months to start with. Contract to Hire Location: Dallas/New York Hybrid flexibility (if onsite role): onsite (5 Days) Job Description: Experience: 5+ years of professional Android development Language:  Expert-level Kotlin, including coroutines and Flow; able to read Java Architecture: Hands-on experience with MVVM, MVI or similar unidirectional data flow patterns, state hoisting, and dependency injection; Kotlin Multiplatform a plus UI: Strong UI fundamentals: state management, lifecycle, adaptive layouts, accessibility, performance. Experience with a declarative UI framework; Jetpack Compose strongly preferred (React, SwiftUI or Flutter experience also counts) Security: Experience building security-sensitive apps (banking, fintech, payments, healthcare or similar), including biometric authentication, secure storage/encryption, and OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect Testing: Proficiency with JUnit and Compose UI testing; experience writing fakes/test doubles and testing coroutines/Flows; Robolectric a plus CI/CD: Experience working in automated build pipelines (GitLab CI preferred); comfortable with Gradle Kotlin DSL, build flavors, and version catalogs API Integration: Strong experience with REST APIs, including authenticated sessions and token refresh; Ktor client a plus (Retrofit/OkHttp experience transfers) Play Store: Experience with Google Play Console, app signing, staged rollouts, and release management Version Control: Proficiency with Git (GitLab preferred) and merge-request-based code review All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
