Senior Financial Consultant & Auditor

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Financial Consultant & Auditor based in the United States. We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Consultant & Auditor to support federal financial statement audits, compliance initiatives, and public sector financial modernization projects. In this role, you will contribute to major federal audit engagements, including Civil Works and Military Programs, while ensuring adherence to government auditing standards and regulatory requirements. You will lead end-to-end audit activities, evaluate complex internal controls, and oversee the quality and accuracy of audit documentation. Working closely with senior government officials, you will provide strategic recommendations on audit findings, risk mitigation, and remediation plans. Depending on your qualifications and leadership experience, there may also be an opportunity to take on managerial responsibilities, including supervising audit teams and managing client engagements.
