AML Investigator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AML Investigator based in Brazil. As an AML Investigator, you will play a key role in identifying, investigating, and mitigating financial crime risks within a global digital asset environment. You will assess referrals involving unusual or suspicious activity, determine potential exposure, and make well-supported decisions on appropriate actions. Working within an international Compliance team, you will collaborate with colleagues across Legal, Customer Support, and other functions to address money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and sanctions risks. Your investigations will contribute to timely regulatory reporting and help maintain robust compliance standards across multiple jurisdictions. You will also develop your expertise in blockchain technology, virtual currencies, and emerging financial crime typologies.
