AML Investigator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AML Investigator based in Brazil. As an AML Investigator, you will play a key role in protecting the integrity and security of a global digital asset trading environment. You will investigate unusual and potentially suspicious activities, assess financial crime risks, and determine whether cases require regulatory reporting or can be closed with documented justification. Working within an international Compliance team, you will collaborate with fellow investigators, legal professionals, and customer support specialists to address money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and sanctions-related risks. You will use blockchain analytics tools and investigative techniques to identify suspicious transaction patterns and understand complex financial activities. This role combines independent decision-making, analytical thinking, and regulatory expertise in a fast-paced cryptocurrency environment. You will also have opportunities to deepen your knowledge of blockchain technology and contribute to strengthening global financial crime prevention practices.
