Senior Accountant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Accountant based in Canada. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in strengthening and scaling accounting operations within a rapidly growing global financial technology environment. You will contribute to accurate financial reporting, efficient accounting processes, and strong internal controls. Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, you will oversee important aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close cycles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple entities to ensure financial accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance. The position also offers opportunities to improve reporting workflows, implement automation, and contribute to financial process optimization.
