ML Engineer, Trust & Safety [Hapiko]

We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer specializing in Trust & Safety to build and maintain safety systems for an innovative AI-powered product designed for children. In this role, you will take ownership of the technical infrastructure that ensures AI-generated content is safe, appropriate, and suitable for young users. You will lead the development and continuous improvement of content moderation pipelines, machine learning classifiers, and evaluation frameworks. Balancing strong protection with a positive user experience, you will ensure that harmless creative ideas are not unnecessarily restricted. Working within a small, highly skilled engineering team, you will collaborate closely with machine learning and platform specialists to integrate safety into every stage of product development.
