The Company: Faraday Future (FF) is a California-based embodied artificial intelligence ecosystem company, leveraging the latest technologies and world’s best talent to realize exciting new possibilities in mobility and robotics. We’re producing user-centric, technology-first vehicles and robots to establish new paradigms in human-AI interaction. We’re not just seeking to change how our cars and robots work – we’re seeking to change the way we drive and interact with machines. At FF, we’re creating something new, something connected, and something with a true global impact. Your Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Staff Product Manager to join our EAI R&D department and lead detailed product definition and delivery acceptance for our FF Robotics EAI Brain portfolio. Based in R&D, you’ll translate the Company Product Department’s market insights and strategic direction into clear requirements, release plans, and measurable acceptance criteria. You’ll own detailed product definition for the FF Robotics EAI Brain and its supporting software, as assigned in the product roadmap. Scope may include embodied AI, perception and navigation, motion control, VLA and world-model capabilities, voice and multimodal interaction, Skills and Agents, and developer tools and interfaces. You’ll define reusable capabilities across robot devices and work with engineering and industry solutions teams to integrate them into customer applications. Key Responsibilities Product Definition and Planning - Translate market needs and approved product strategy into product requirements documents, use cases, user journeys, functional specifications, operating boundaries, exception handling and measurable success criteria. - Define product behavior in sufficient detail for engineering execution, including interactions, configuration, interface requirements, data requirements and dependencies. Partner with design and engineering to resolve ambiguity before development. - Own the product backlog, feature priorities and release scope. Maintain traceability from customer needs to requirements, engineering work and acceptance evidence; manage requirement changes and their impact on schedule and quality. - Delivery and Product Acceptance - Drive delivery commitments with engineering and program teams. Establish milestones and dependencies, monitor progress, resolve blockers and escalate risks early with clear scope, schedule and quality tradeoffs. - Define acceptance criteria before development, covering functional completeness, user experience, AI task success, response time, reliability and recovery behavior. Establish measurable targets with engineering and QA for each release and relevant operating environment. - Lead product acceptance through scenario reviews, demonstrations, usability evaluations and validation on real robots. Assess evidence against agreed criteria and document gaps, required fixes and acceptance decisions. - Own product acceptance sign-off for requirements, experience and quality within the company release process. Identify release blockers, drive defect closure and present readiness recommendations to the designated release authority; engineering and QA retain responsibility for technical verification and test execution. - Work with industry solutions, deployment and support teams to validate capabilities in customer scenarios. Turn field feedback and product performance into prioritized improvements and verify the effectiveness of subsequent releases. - Maintain alignment with the Company Product Department through regular product definition and release reviews. Escalate changes to strategic scope, positioning, or major customer commitments for alignment before execution. Basic Requirements - 12+ years of relevant professional experience, including substantial ownership of technical product definition and delivery for robotics, AI software, developer platforms or comparable complex products. - Demonstrated ability to turn high-level product direction into precise, actionable requirements and acceptance criteria that engineering teams can execute. - Strong technical fluency in AI and software systems, with the ability to understand model limitations, deployment constraints, hardware and software dependencies, and performance and reliability tradeoffs. - Track record of shipping products through cross-functional teams, managing scope and delivery risks, and accepting releases against measurable experience and quality standards. - Strong product judgment, structured problem solving and clear written communication. Ability to influence senior stakeholders and engineers in a matrix organization without relying on direct authority. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with embodied AI, robotic autonomy, VLA models, world models, motion control, human–robot interaction, Skills or Agent platforms, or robotics developer ecosystems. - Experience validating AI capabilities on physical robots and working across simulation, deployment and field operations - Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and requirements management tools and practices. - Experience working with teams in the United States and China; professional proficiency in English, with Mandarin Chinese as a plus. Annual Salary Range: $180,000 - $220,000 plus benefits and incentive plans Perks + Benefits - Healthcare + dental + vision benefits (Free for you/discounted for family) - 401(k) options - Casual dress code + relaxed work environment - Culturally diverse, progressive atmosphere Faraday Future is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status.
