About the role
Adobe Creative SuiteFigmaCommunication
Vuori is re-defining what athletic apparel looks like: built to move and sweat in but designed with a casual aesthetic to transition into everyday life. We draw inspiration from an active coastal California lifestyle; an integration of fitness, creative expression and life. Our high energy fast paced retail environment is reflected in the clothes we make. We aim to inspire others to take on all aspects of their lives with clarity, enthusiasm and purpose…while having a lot of fun along the way. We are proud to be an outlet for opportunity and for personal growth and success.
As a Production Designer on the Creative Team, you will play a key role in making sure our brand shows up polished, consistent, and production-ready across print and presentation formats. Reporting to the Senior Designer, you'll be responsible for finalizing artwork for print and for building and maintaining the presentation decks the department and its cross-functional partners rely on. You'll partner closely with designers, internal stakeholders, and external print vendors so that creative execution meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
What you'll get to do:
- Support the Senior Designer in the execution of creative projects, translating approved concepts into mechanical files, die-lines, and production-ready artwork.
- Prepare, finalize, and package print files, including file setup, bleeds, trim and safety margins, color management, image resolution checks, and preflight.
- Handle layout and imposition for multi-page and specialty pieces such as booklets, catalogs, and collateral.
- Partner with print vendors on specs, proofs, timelines, and corrections, and review proofs and press checks for accuracy and color quality.
- Batch process, resize, and adapt artwork across multiple formats and sizes.
- Build, format, and update Figma presentation decks in collaboration with designers and other departments, turning rough content into clean, on-brand slides.
- Develop and maintain master deck templates, slide layouts, and asset libraries to keep presentations consistent with brand guidelines.
- Manage version control and ensure current decks and final files are organized and easy for the team to find.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Retail, and other teams to understand deliverable needs and deadlines.
- Maintain and organize design libraries, templates, production specs, and an archive of final files.
- Help uphold brand standards across all print and presentation materials, flagging inconsistencies and proposing fixes.
- Assist with project tracking, intake, and handoffs to keep the creative workflow moving smoothly.
- Provide creative input and process improvements that make production faster and more consistent.
- Support junior team members and interns when appropriate, fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in production design, prepress, or a creative support role within an agency, in-house team, or lifestyle/fashion brand environment.
- Portfolio or work samples demonstrating strong layout, typography, and attention to production detail across print and presentation work.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and strong skills in PowerPoint, Keynote, and/or Google Slides, including master slides and templates. Figma experience is a must.
- Solid understanding of print production processes, including file setup, color profiles, preflight, imposition, paper stocks, and finishing techniques.
- Experience preparing files for vendors and working with commercial printers to resolve issues quickly.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple projects and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills; comfortable taking feedback and clarifying requirements with designers and stakeholders.
- Collaborative, proactive, and exceptionally detail-oriented, with a drive to improve workflows and elevate the quality of the team's output.
- Ability to quickly adapt existing creative into new formats while staying true to the design intent.
