Founder Associate

ABOUT THE ROLE Join the founding team of an early-stage AI-powered recruiting and talent-matching startup. This hands-on operator role spans product, growth, operations, and partnerships, helping the team improve candidate experiences and build scalable ways to connect talent with startups. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Lead high-priority projects from planning through execution, including new market initiatives and strategic work. - Improve candidate experience, funnel conversion, candidate quality, and hiring outcomes. - Build operational processes and systems that support rapid growth. - Support go-to-market efforts by refining messaging, running experiments, and developing partnerships. - Turn feedback from candidates and companies into actionable product priorities. - Switch independently across operations, strategy, recruiting, and special projects as priorities evolve. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Approximately 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience. - Experience as a Founder Associate, Chief of Staff, or comparable startup operator. - Hands-on operations experience beyond a primarily technical or product-management background. - Ability to work independently across operational, strategic, recruiting, and project work in a fast-moving startup environment. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Base salary range: $90,000 to $120,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available. LOCATION On-site in San Francisco, California. Candidates must be based in San Francisco or willing to relocate for an in-person team and hacker-house setup.
