Join the Market Leader in Electric Power Data and Analytics Solutions
The electrical grid is the largest and most complicated machine ever built. Yes Energy’s industry-leading electric power trading analytics software provides real-time visibility into the massive amount of data generated by the North American electrical grid daily. Our unique and innovative view of the data informs real-time trading decisions and mid-to-long-term investment decisions that keep utility prices low, support the energy transition, and keep the grid running. It’s both challenging work and work with a purpose.
Be a part of our successful, growing business during international transformation.
Position Summary
The Model Ready Data Team builds the modeling data service behind EnCompass, Yes Energy’s power system simulation engine. We produce and maintain the model-ready datasets for North American power systems (generators, load, fuels, transmission, emissions, reserves, and more) that form the baseline for customers’ modeling ecosystems, along with the assumptions documentation that explains every input. We bridge Yes Energy’s Data Platform and Modeling disciplines by translating power system data and historical reports into modeling inputs and supporting the development of proprietary nodal LMP forecasts.
As a Power Market Data & Modeling Analyst you will build, validate, and automate those datasets while developing expertise in one or more power markets.
