Warehouseman

Uploads and stocks materials including plant supplies, tools and equipment. Loads supplies, tools and equipment to be dispatched. Operates forklifts, overhead cranes and similar equipment. Ensures that materials are properly received, moved, stocked, accounted for and protected. Conducts inventories. Keeps logs and assists in preparing reports.   Core Responsibilities Receiving & Storing: Unload incoming deliveries and trucks, inspect material and items for damage or discrepancies, move stock to optimal storage locations and organize inventory in designated storage locations. Order Fulfillment: Receive and process pick lists, locate items and prepare materials, and accurately pack orders for timely deliveries. Inventory Control: Log incoming/outgoing stock, track stock levels using scanners or Warehouse Management Systems, and assist with regular physical inventory audits. Maintain accurate inventory records by logging incoming and outgoing materials, tracking stock levels through inventory systems, and assisting with cycle counts and physical inventories. Safey & Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment and clear up any safety hazards and follow all company safety policies and procedures and health and safety regulations. Equipment Operation: Safely handle and operate all warehouse equipment and vehicles such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move and organize materials efficiently.
