About the role

CRMGo-to-Market
Job Description Flowcode Flowcode builds the infrastructure that turns every seat, broadcast, and game-day touchpoint into measurable, actionable first-party fan IDs, enabling leagues, teams, and live event properties to personalize the fan experience and grow ticketing, merchandise, and sponsorship revenue. As the leading offline-to-online conversion and measurement platform, Flowcode is committed to building direct connections between properties and their fans. Our products unify fan experiences and data across the venue, the broadcast, and the digital world. Role As an Account Executive, Sports & Entertainment, you will sell Flowcode to professional teams, college athletics departments, venues, and live event properties, and grow our league-wide partnerships club by club. Sports is Flowcode's strongest pod. We power league and club-wide Flowcode 2 structures with the NHL (the league office and all 32 clubs) and with the NBA and WNBA, and we work with NASCAR, TKO, Texas A&M, and dozens of other teams and schools. Properties use Flowcode to capture fan data at every touchpoint, personalize the game-day experience, sell tickets and merchandise, and create sponsor inventory they can sell to their partners: seat tags, in-venue and broadcast codes, fan hubs, and sponsored experiences like the Coors Light fan vote on ESPN College GameDay. This is a quota-carrying individual contributor role and the pod's volume seat: you carry a number and a named list of teams, schools, and properties, convert league relationships into signed clubs, and win new properties on a fast cycle timed to the season and the sponsorship calendar. The ideal candidate knows how a property makes money from tickets, sponsorship, media, and fan data, sells with a built product in hand, and closes like a seller. Responsibilities - Own a named list of professional teams, college athletics programs, venues, and live event properties, a mix of new logos and existing customers, carrying full accountability for new revenue and expansion against an annual number - Turn league partnerships into club revenue: work alongside the Pod Lead and Account Managers to move NBA, WNBA, and NHL clubs from trial to paid, and repeat the league-wide model with other leagues and conferences - Win college athletics at scale across the major conferences and with multimedia rights and technology partners such as Learfield/Sidearm, turning one school into a conference footprint - Sell fan programs, not software: bring each property a pre-built Flowcode experience for a real moment on its calendar (a home opener, rivalry game, playoff run, or tentpole event) with an ROI case, and ask for the order in the meeting - Build relationships with CMOs, heads of fan engagement and CRM, ticketing and revenue leaders, partnership and sponsorship sales teams, and digital and data leaders - Lead the core sports use cases: fan data capture with FlowID, seat tags and in-venue experiences, broadcast and video board codes, ticketing and merchandise conversion, app downloads, and sponsored fan experiences - Help properties package and sell Flowcode-powered inventory to their sponsors, and work with sponsor brands (QSR, beverage, sports betting, financial services, auto) and the Agency Pod so each partnership activates through Flowcode - Work with Flowcode's Studio, Integration Engineering, and Client Success teams to launch on the season's timeline and connect fan data to the property's CRM, ticketing, and CDP systems - Drive a deliberate land-and-expand motion, turning one use case, venue, or sport into a season-long, multi-team, or athletic-department-wide program - Represent Flowcode where sports business leaders gather, including Sports Business Journal conferences, the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference, NACDA, and Cannes Lions - Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline reporting for executive review - Raise the bar for the broader Go-To-Market team by sharing sports insight, deal strategy, and winning activations with peers Qualifications - 4+ years of quota-carrying sales to or within sports properties. We're open to a range of backgrounds, including team or league partnership and ticket sales, sports technology (ticketing, fan engagement, CRM, data), college athletics multimedia rights, and sports marketing agency client leadership - Relationships at the club, school, or league level across marketing, ticketing, partnerships, and digital - Fluency in how properties monetize: ticketing, sponsorship inventory and renewal cycles, media rights, merchandise, and the value of first-party fan data - Proven record of exceeding quota at high velocity, closing many five- and six-figure deals a year without losing credibility or discounting to get there - Experience expanding a league or conference relationship club by club or school by school is a strong plus - A creative, idea-first selling style: comfortable walking into a first meeting with a pre-built Flowcode experience, demoing it live, and editing it in the room when a buyer asks "can it do this?" - AI-native working style: prepares accounts with research agents rather than waiting on a dossier, builds their own analysis and pipeline views, and can point to a process they replaced with AI tooling and the result it produced - Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to command a room of senior executives and translate technology into business outcomes - Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a solution-oriented approach to client challenges - Experience in fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment with changing priorities - Proven ability to work effectively within a team, sharing insights and supporting peers to achieve collective goals - Proficiency with CRM software and familiarity with sales engagement tools - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience This is an in-office role at our beautiful office in Soho, NYC. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. A successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The current range for this role is up to $180k - $250k OTE plus equity.
