Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients across multiple client facilities throughout the state. This position requires regular travel throughout the state to various client locations, including skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Candidates must be comfortable traveling between assigned facilities based on patient care needs and scheduling requirements. As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assessing, treating, and managing patients with heart-related conditions while collaborating with cardiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Responsibilities - Travel throughout the state to various assigned client facilities to provide on-site patient care - Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests - Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions - Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary - Conduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic procedures - Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and the importance of medication adherence - Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and their families - Maintain knowledge of CMS Regulations and NCQA HEDIS Guidelines - Document accurate and timely medical records to ensure compliance with OSHA, government regulations, and organizational quality and safety standards - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams at various client facilities - Analyze, coordinate, and organize the care of medically complex and critically ill patients - Manage schedules and travel efficiently to ensure timely coverage of assigned client locations Requirements - Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility - Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license - DEA License - CPR/BCLS/BLS certification - Master's Degree in Nursing or other applicable advanced practice degree - Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program - Cardiology experience preferred; training provided - Experience documenting in EMR systems such as Sigma, Visual, PCC, or similar platforms preferred; training provided - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the state to multiple client locations - Reliable transportation and ability to travel between assigned facilities as required - Ability to adapt to varying client locations, schedules, and patient-care environments - Prolonged standing and walking - Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs., carry medical equipment, and assist with lifting or moving patients as needed Benefits: - Competitive compensation per annum: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 - Paid Time Off - Malpractice Insurance Why Work With Us? - Make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors - Work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment - Enjoy work-life balance Equal Opportunity Employer Infinite Medical P.C is an equal-opportunity employer.
