WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to report to the Senior Director of Product Management and join the core Commerce & Monetization team at SurveyMonkey in India, taking end-to-end ownership of our global billing infrastructure and local payment integrations. As we scale our survey and feedback platform globally, we need a strategic product leader to modernize our subscription billing engines, optimize checkout conversion, and seamlessly handle high-volume recurring transactions. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the financial spine of a globally recognized SaaS brand, directly impacting top-line subscriber growth and enterprise retention. WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON - Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for SurveyMonkey’s subscription billing platforms, invoice management, and localized payment ecosystems. - Partner closely with engineering, finance, tax, and legal teams to design enterprise-grade payout, automated reconciliation, and revenue recognition workflows. - Integrate and optimize local payment rails (UPI, recurring e-mandates, net banking) alongside global gateways (e.g., Stripe, Adyen) to maximize checkout conversion and subscription renewal rates. - Leverage payment telemetry and transaction failure data to continuously refine retry algorithms, smart routing rules, and churn mitigation strategies. - Manage strategic partnerships with global payment service providers (PSPs), acquirers, and financial institutions to ensure regulatory compliance and platform reliability. WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM PEOPLE WITH - 6+ years of core product management experience, with at least 3 years explicitly focused on SaaS billing engines, subscription management, or fintech platforms. - Hands-on experience building and scaling payment architectures that handle multi-currency, localized payment methods (including India’s UPI/eNACH frameworks), and recurring billing models. - Technical capability to define REST API specs, schema designs, sequence diagrams, and webhook event structures for complex transactional workflows. - Direct experience querying transactional databases via SQL and utilizing product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Tableau) to evaluate funnel performance. - Deep domain knowledge of PCI-DSS compliance, global indirect tax handling (GST, VAT), chargeback management, and double-entry ledger accounting.
