Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including study investigators, to refine research concepts and develop feasible, fit-for-purpose study designs with scientific rigor appropriate to the research question and objectives.
- Conduct literature reviews to evaluate the existing evidence base, identify research gaps, and inform study design, endpoints, and methodology.
- Manage the planning and development of a portfolio of research projects, tracking milestones, dependencies, and deliverables while proactively escalating risks or decisions requiring leadership input.
- Lead or contribute to the analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of study data, in collaboration with research scientists and external statisticians, as appropriate.
- Partner with Commercial/Go-To-Market, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to translate research findings into scientifically-accurate product messaging and commercial materials.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by your Manager/Supervisor
What We're Looking For:
- Advanced degree (Ph.D., M.A./M.S., M.D., Pharm.D., or equivalent) in a scientific or clinical field, with formal training or demonstrated expertise in clinical research methodology (such as Clinical Research, Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or related discipline)
- 7+ years of clinical research experience, with 5+ years in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, and demonstrated success advancing projects from study design and development through execution, analysis, and reporting
- Strong knowledge of clinical research design, protocol development, and statistical methods sufficient to inform rigorous study design across varied methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects, proactively resolve ambiguity, mitigate risks, and drive deliverables forward with limited oversight.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in electronic health record (EHR) data, real-world evidence (RWE), and/or neurology, pediatric, or neonatal research is highly desirable
- Experience with clinical research involving AI-enabled medical devices or SaMD is a plus
