About the role
Retail Merchandiser – Longford / Granard / Ballinalack
Part-Time Position | Approximately 12 Hours Per Week
Are you reliable, enthusiastic and someone who takes pride in doing a job well? We are looking for a motivated Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to join our team, covering stores in the Longford, Granard and Ballinalack areas.
Previous merchandising experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential, as full training will be provided. We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and the drive to succeed.
The Role
- Calling to designated retail stores on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
- Ensuring products are well presented, shelves are correctly stocked and displays look their best.
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with store staff, colleagues and clients.
- Completing reporting and logging requirements using various apps and online links.
- Managing your calls independently and ensuring all stores are covered within normal daytime working hours. No evening calls are required.
Calls are day-specific rather than time-specific, offering flexibility in how you organise your working day, provided all calls are completed within normal working hours.
What We Are Looking For
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Own car and full flexibility to travel between stores.
- Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and an eye for effective product displays.
- An understanding of what good merchandising looks like, or the willingness to learn.
- Reliable, organised and comfortable using apps, links and digital reporting systems.
What We Offer
- Approximately 12 hours per week to start.
- Full training and ongoing support.
- The opportunity to develop your skills and take on additional work as opportunities arise.
- Potential for increased hours for someone who demonstrates initiative, reliability and a genuine drive to succeed.
If you are self-motivated, enjoy working independently and take pride in achieving high standards, we would love to hear from you!
