Achieve is a leading digital personal finance company. We help everyday people move from struggling to thriving by providing innovative, personalized financial solutions. By leveraging proprietary data and analytics, our solutions are tailored for each step of our member's financial journey to include debt consolidation, personal loans, home equity loans, financial tools and education. Every day, we get to help our members move their finances forward with care, compassion, and empathetic touch. We put people first and treat them like humans, not account numbers. The fintech industry is large and growing. Over $11T in home equity is sitting untapped across US homeowners - most haven’t borrowed against it yet, while personal loan balances just hit a record $276Bn from four years in a row of growth, with no signs of slowing. Consumers continue to face mounting debt. Credit card delinquencies are up 38%, leading to more demand for debt relief services. Achieve continues to support members and meet them wherever they are on their journey. Since 2002, Achieve has grown into one of the largest private consumer fintech unicorns in the U.S., with over $57B in enrollments for our industry-leading, tech-enabled debt resolution services business, and over $16Bn in personal and home loans originations. The Opportunity: Join us and help everyday people go from surviving to thriving with innovative digital personal finance solutions. This role connects day-to-day business performance with enterprise strategy and long-term value creation. This is a builder-operator role: you will take work from ideation through execution, whether a strategic initiative, a model rebuild, or a new planning process. The Role: Achieve is seeking a builder-operator to serve as the VP, Strategic Finance & FP&A. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will own how Achieve plans, measures, and decides: turning strategy into plans, plans into forecasts, and results into decisions. You will partner with the senior leadership team and work closely with Capital Markets to tie operating performance to funding and enterprise value. Overview of Key Responsibilities: 1. Planning & Performance Management Own the planning and performance cycle for Achieve enterprise and its business units (Freedom Debt Relief and Achieve Lending), ensuring budgets, forecasts, and results tell a consistent story. Run monthly business reviews with variance narratives, and modernize planning, modeling, and reporting systems to maintain data quality and a single source of truth. 2. Lead Strategic Finance & Value Creation Translate strategy into funded, measurable initiatives and provide analysis for key growth decisions. Own strategic initiatives end to end, frame growth pathways for leadership and the board, evaluate M&A, partnerships, and product unit economics, and perform scenario and stress testing with Capital Markets. 3. Deliver Executive, Board & Investor Reporting Serve as the primary source for reporting performance to the board, lenders, and investors. Prepare board materials, KPI frameworks, and executive dashboards; manage covenant tracking across debt facilities; and support audit and 409A valuation processes. 4. Partner on Funding, Liquidity & Treasury Partner with Capital Markets and Accounting on funding and capital items, including loan sales, ABS transactions, and liquidity planning. Direct day-to-day treasury operations, including cash management and warehouse line planning. 5. Familiarity with capital markets, warehouse, and securitization structures, and how they shape financial planning, is a strong plus. - Executive Communicator: Executive presence and a track record of communicating with senior executives, boards, and investors; able to influence both internal operators and external partners. - Builder Mindset: High horsepower, low ego; thrives in ambiguity and builds structure where none exists.Achieve Leader Model Expectations (VP  Level) In accordance with Achieve’s Lead Forward Rubric, this VP position requires demonstrated excellence across four foundational leadership pillars: 1.
