We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Kitchen and Laundry Technician to join our operations team at Constance Ephelia, Seychelles. In this permanent position, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of kitchen and laundry operations across our resort. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, a commitment to hygiene and safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment. - Operate, maintain, and perform routine servicing of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, refrigeration units, dishwashers, and food preparation machinery - Responsible for kitchen and laundry equipment, chillers, AC, chilled water systems, pumps, and boilers, including testing and maintenance. - Attend to, repair, and maintain refrigeration equipment, chillers, walk-in coolers, freezers, ovens, etc. -  Operate and maintain industrial laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment - Maintain and repair laundry equipment including washing machines, dryers, ironing machines, steam equipment, and pressing machines -  Conduct daily cleaning and sanitisation of kitchen and laundry facilities in accordance with health and safety regulations - Monitor equipment performance and identify maintenance issues; perform basic troubleshooting and repairs as required -  Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene protocols within the kitchen area -  Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and servicing schedules -  Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and coordinate with external maintenance providers when necessary - Support the broader operations team to ensure seamless service delivery across the resort -  Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures and report any hazards or concerns -  Work collaboratively with kitchen and housekeeping staff to maintain operational efficiency - Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related technical field. - Minimum 2 years of experience in Kitchen & Laundry maintenance (preferred). -  Proven experience operating and maintaining industrial laundry equipment -  Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards -  Familiarity with cleaning and sanitisation protocols -  Excellent organisational and time-keeping skills -  Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality -  Physical stamina and ability to work in demanding environments -  Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability -  Previous experience in a hospitality or resort environment -  Knowledge of health and safety compliance requirements -   Experience with equipment maintenance scheduling and record-keeping WORK WITH CONSTANCE 🌿 Join a team where well-being, career development, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do. - We believe in continuous learning and growth to help our teams achieve their full potential. - A strong family spirit is part of our identity, we support and care for one another. - We offer international career opportunities, allowing you to develop within a renowned luxury hospitality group. - Our passion for luxury hospitality is reflected in every detail of the guest experience. - We are committed to environmental and societal contributions, integrating sustainability into everything we do.🌿We want our team members to feel valued and supported, offering a work environment that encourages excellence, personal growth, and cultural diversity.
