Customer Service Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Consol is a growing national tanning brand with 58 studios nation-wide (and counting!), leading the field in safe and responsible tanning. We want you to be a part of our future! An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Helpline Team for a Customer Service Assistant. This is a fixed-term maternity cover position for up to 9 months, with the possibility of an extension depending on business needs.  Our Helpline department operates Monday to Sunday between 7am and 10.30pm. Flexibility is a must for this position, day, evening and weekend availability is essential. Some designated shifts will be worked from home. About the role You will support our studio teams with the smooth day-to-day running of Consol studios and help ensure our customers receive the highest standard of service. This varied role involves answering customer queries, providing remote support to studios and completing administrative tasks to help maintain efficient operations. What we’re looking for Essential - Previous customer service experience. - GCSE English or an equivalent qualification, or demonstrable communication skills. - Experience handling calls and answering customer queries. - Experience supporting a team by email and telephone. - Good time management and organisational skills. - Motivation to learn and take on new challenges. Desirable - Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment. - Experience working with age-restricted products and checking age verification. - Experience working in a dedicated support team. - Familiarity with CCTV technology and remote services.
