Principal Electrical Engineer

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer with a strong focus on electronics design, PCB development, and EPLAN-based engineering. In this role, you will lead the design of board-level circuits and electrical systems, drive engineering standards, and support innovation in automated machine technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, production-ready solutions. Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of electrical and electronic systems for reverse vending machines - Develop and maintain schematics and circuit designs - Create and release electrical documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs - Design and specify components such as sensors, motor controls, and embedded electronics - Use EPLAN and other CAD tools to develop and manage electrical designs - Establish and improve engineering standards, design processes, and documentation practices - Support manufacturing and supply chain with component selection, validation, and design updates - Drive DFM, DFMEA, and design validation activities - Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and production issues - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
