LeadershipB2B SalesCommunication
At Nielsen, we are passionate about our work to power a better media future for all people by providing powerful insights that drive client decisions and deliver extraordinary results. Our talented, global workforce is dedicated to capturing audience engagement with content - wherever and whenever it’s consumed. Together, we are proudly rooted in our deep legacy as we stand at the forefront of the media revolution. When you join Nielsen, you will join a dynamic team committed to excellence, perseverance, and the ambition to make an impact together. We champion you, because when you succeed, we do too. We enable your best to power our future. The Sr Manager, Convening Experiences owns Nielsen's most senior, highest-stakes convening portfolio: the annual flagship client experience, global sports convening including World Cup, Super Bowl and Olympic suites, Cannes Lions convening, executive forums and C-suite dinners. This role exists to move Nielsen's premium moments from hospitality to executive immersion. The output is not attendance — it is a measurable shift in how the industry's most valuable decision-makers regard Nielsen, and a direct contribution to retention across named strategic accounts. Working closely with Global Client & Sales Leadership, Customer Lifecycle Marketing, Content & Strategic Insights, Brand and Creative, this leader designs and delivers experiences where senior clients engage with Nielsen's media intelligence and leadership in an environment built entirely for that purpose. Responsibilities: - Flagship Experience Ownership: Own the end-to-end design and delivery of Nielsen's annual flagship convening experience, from concept and business case through guest journey, strategy, programming, production and post-event verdict. Hold accountability for the standard, the budget and the outcome. - Premium Sports & Cultural Convening: Lead Nielsen's premium convening at global sports moments, including World Cup, Super Bowl and Olympic programs, and Cannes Lions convening. Define the guest experience model, hospitality standard and content moments that differentiate Nielsen from a suite with a logo on it. - Executive Forums & C-Suite Engagement: Build and run a recurring program of executive forums, roundtables and C-suite dinners that create senior dialogue between Nielsen leadership and client leadership. Own format design, topic selection with Content & Strategic Insights, and executive host preparation. - Guest Strategy & Account Alignment: Partner with Global Client & Sales Leadership and Customer Lifecycle Marketing to build guest strategy against named strategic accounts and retention priorities. Own invitation architecture, tiering, RSVP conversion and the post-event follow-through motion into client planning conversations. - Experience Design & Programming: Translate Nielsen's brand and media intelligence narrative into environment, format, content and moment premium design. Ensure every program has a point of view and value, not just a venue and a run of show. - Production & Agency Leadership: Lead agencies and production partners against Nielsen's premium standard. Own workback plans, production workbooks, safety, security, legal and compliance requirements across the premium portfolio. - Measurement & Reporting: Own measurement for the premium portfolio, including event NPS, strategic-partner versus vendor perception among senior attendees, retention impact on named accounts, and executive meetings generated. Report results and recommendations to marketing and commercial leadership. - Budget Ownership: Manage the premium convening budget, ensuring each program carries a business case and delivers a defensible return on investment. - 10+ years leading premium B2B experiences, executive convening or high-touch premium client programs for global brands. - Demonstrated ownership of a flagship or enterprise-scale event with executive and C-suite audiences, including full budget accountability. - Experience delivering premium hospitality and convening at major sports, entertainment or cultural moments, ideally within a rights-holder or official-partner environment. - Proven ability to design programming and content moments, not only manage logistics and production. - Track record aligning experiences to named-account retention, executive relationship depth and commercial outcomes. - 7+ years managing agency, production and technology partners at premium standard. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence and judgment to advise and prepare senior executives as hosts. - Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent experience. #LI-AW1 Enabling your best to power a better media future. Holistic Rewards: We are committed to an inclusive benefits package that supports our employees and their families. This includes comprehensive health and wellness plans, a 401(k) with a Nielsen company match, and a generous paid time off policy. Depending on the role, additional benefits may include a company-provided vehicle and/or discretionary incentive/bonus eligibility. Compensation Transparency: The posted base salary range is a reasonable estimate that  may be adjusted based on the final work location of the selected employee. Individual pay within the range is determined by factors such as experience, training, geography, certifications, and business needs.
