DR Academy Hitting Coach

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW: The Player Development department is dedicated to fostering the comprehensive growth of our minor league players. Our mission is to excel in optimizing talent and skill development while aligning with player and team objectives. Our approach involves the creation of world class player programs and efficiently scaling them across our player pool. Collaborating closely with baseball analytics, performance, and medical, we establish effective frameworks for experimentation and learning. Additionally, we work closely with Amateur Scouting, International Scouting, and Pro Scouting to ensure seamless player transitions into the Red Sox organization. POSITION OVERVIEW: The DR Academy Hitting Coach will work closely with the other hitting coaches, the Director of Hitting Development, and other essential staff to help implement and track player-specific offensive development plans. This is a hands-on, uniformed position that supports the daily operations related to improving player performance. We are seeking someone who is organized, detail-oriented, curious, and data-driven, with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. The candidate should also be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, working closely with players, coaches, and other departments to ensure player success. This position will be based out of our academy in the Dominican Republic.
