About the role

A note from Kyle Sherman https://www.linkedin.com/in/kylesherman/, Founder and CEO: We're not a lifestyle company, and we're not an early startup that could be gone in two years. We're profitable, everyone here owns equity, and we're going from tens of millions in revenue to hundreds of millions with as few people as possible. That means every person here directs AI agents the way a great Michelin-star chef runs a kitchen: high taste, high standards, and nothing leaves the pass that isn't right. It's hard, the fun kind of hard, and I'm looking for people who feel the same way. THE ROLE We're hiring a Growth Marketing Lead to build the engine that turns attention into revenue. You own performance marketing end-to-end: paid acquisition, the funnel, lifecycle, and the attribution that tells us what each dollar produced. You run experiments every week, keep what works, cut what doesn't, and report the numbers to a sales team that measures itself daily. This is a hands-on role with a lot of room. You'll build your own systems with AI, from campaign builds and reporting to research and testing, so a lean team outproduces a much bigger one. You'll be at the front of how Flowhub introduces itself to new industries, starting with liquor retail, and you'll work beside Annie Fleshman https://www.linkedin.com/in/afleshman, our Executive Creative Director, who leads brand and creative. Do this well, and it grows into running marketing. You'll report to Royce Luque https://www.linkedin.com/in/royce-luque-5bb45553, VP of Sales, who runs sales and marketing as one system, and work on-site at our Coconut Grove HQ in Miami, five days a week, next to the executive team. We'll help the right person move to Miami. ๐Ÿš€ WHAT YOU'LL OWN (BUILD IT, MEASURE IT, DO IT AGAIN) - Paid acquisition. Search, social, and whatever channel earns its budget, with spend you can defend line by line. - Attribution and the funnel. Clean tracking from first touch to closed deal, and a weekly read the sales team trusts. - Experiments. A steady cadence of tests on offers, audiences, pages, and messages, with the results written down. - Your AI stack. The workflows, automations, and agents that let you do the work of a team. - New categories. The demand plan for each new industry we enter, liquor first. - The sales partnership. Time on the sales floor, hearing what buyers say, and turning it into pipeline. ๐Ÿ’š YOU'LL PROBABLY LOVE THIS ROLE IF: - You think in numbers. CAC, conversion, pipeline contribution: you can talk them without a deck, and your opinions come from the data. - AI is how you work. You've built your own tools, prompts, and automations, and in the last six months they changed what you can do alone. - You're curious to a fault. You study why things work, test your hunches, and have taste you can defend. - You want ownership early. A chance to run a function and prove you can lead it sounds like the best job you could get. - Hard problems give you energy. A new category and a sales team that pushes back daily sound like fun, not stress. - You want to be years ahead of your peers. Building the growth engine at a profitable company scaling into new markets is experience most marketers rarely get this early. ๐Ÿšฉ THIS ROLE PROBABLY ISN'T FOR YOU IF: - You want a lifestyle job. The pace is fast, the bar is high, and the work never sits still. - You'd rather stay out of sight. On a small team, there's nowhere to hide, and everyone carries weight. - You prefer approving the work to doing it. You'll be in the ad accounts, the data, and the tools yourself. - You measure success in impressions. Everything here gets asked what it produced in pipeline. - Remote or hybrid is a must for you. This is a Coconut Grove role, five days a week. ๐ŸŽฏ IDEAL BACKGROUND (NOT A CHECKLIST) - You've personally run paid acquisition with a budget and can put pipeline or revenue numbers next to your work. - Time at a startup or growth-stage company where marketing had to prove itself, and you built from a small base. - You've owned attribution or funnel reporting, in HubSpot, Salesforce, GA4, or whatever the team ran on. - You build with AI on your own: name the tools, what you made, and what changed because of it. - You've worked hand in hand with sales and like it. - Bonus: B2B software for small businesses or retail operators, payments or fintech, or a launch into a market that had never heard of the product. No degree requirement; we hire for how you think. ๐Ÿ”‘ THE HIRING PROCESS: MEET THE TEAM We respect your time. Each conversation should give you a clearer picture of whether this is the right move for you. - Stage 1 (Recruiter Screen): A 30-minute conversation with Aaron Friedman, our talent acquisition partner, on your background, what you're looking for, and mutual fit. - Stage 2 (Hiring Manager Connect): A conversation with Royce Luque, VP of Sales, on growth programs you ran and what they produced. - Stage 3 (Final Connect, On-Site): A visit to our Coconut Grove HQ to meet Royce and Will Zinsmeister, Chief of Staff, and see the team at work. Total time from first conversation to offer: roughly two to three weeks for a strong candidate. ๐Ÿ THE DEAL Here's what you're signing up for. Flowhub is a small team of high performers that moves fast, and this role asks you to produce numbers from week one, in the office, beside the people selling what you market. In return, you get ownership most marketers wait years for, direct access to the executive team, and a growth engine that's yours to build at a profitable company entering new industries. If that's the job you want, apply. ๐ŸŒŸ WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU - Compensation ๐Ÿ’ฐ: $160,000 base, plus a $10,000 quarterly bonus ($200,000 on-target), plus equity. - Full Benefits ๐Ÿ›ก: Medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and 401(k). - Time Off ๐ŸŒด: Unlimited PTO and paid holidays. - Where You'll Work ๐Ÿ“: On-site at our Coconut Grove HQ in Miami, five days a week. - Relocation ๐Ÿšš: We'll help the right person move to Miami. - The Upside โšก: A growth engine to build from the ground up at a company already running more than a thousand stores, with new industries ahead and a path to lead marketing. โญ OUR VALUES - Mission-First. We're here to solve real problems for the operators we serve, not to chase what's trending. - Maximum Urgency. Speed compounds. We act now, not later. - Own It. No spectators. Everyone runs their part of the field. - Championship Team. High bar, full trust, no carry-on talent. - Efficient Execution. We scale process with technology, not headcount. - Customer Obsessed. We earn our keep in our customers' stores. When something breaks at nine on a Saturday night, it's our problem, and we pick up. - Positive Intent. We assume the best of each other and earn the right to disagree well. ย  ๐Ÿช ABOUT FLOWHUB Flowhub exists so that the people who run stores can run them better. We build the retail platform for big categories that generic tools serve badly: point-of-sale, payments, e-commerce, inventory, compliance, loyalty, and analytics, with an agentic AI layer working alongside the operator. We proved it in cannabis, the hardest version of the job, where every new state was effectively a new country with its own regulator, rulebook, tax logic, and reporting. Liquor retail is launching now, and more categories follow. Today more than a thousand retailers run on Flowhub, processing more than $4 billion in customer sales each year. The people behind those numbers are entrepreneurs: an owner who mortgaged a house to open a first location, a family running eleven locations across two states. Our software lets them ring up sales, stay compliant, run payroll, and hire their next employee. We have been profitable since 2023, we generate cash, and we are venture-backed, so this is not an early startup waiting on its next round. We take on the biggest names in commerce software with a small team, and that is a choice. We run about a third the headcount of a company our size, and every person here directs AI agents to produce what three people used to. It is demanding; most people will not want to work this way, and that's fine. For the right person, it is the kind of experience you won't find anywhere else for years. Founder and CEO Kyle Sherman built Flowhub from the inside out. As a Head of Compliance in the industry's earliest days, he ran headfirst into software that couldn't keep up with the rules and built the platform he needed. In 2014, he became the first to integrate with a state track-and-trace system, lobbying Colorado to open the API, which is now an industry standard. Kyle still sets the company's vision and strategy. We're privately held and backed by top-tier investors, with a board that has scaled software companies to tens of millions of customers. We hire people, not resumes, and we don't require a degree. If this role excites you and you think you'd be great at it, please apply. Flowhub is an equal opportunity employer.
