WE'RE BUILDING A NEW HEALTHCARE CLEARINGHOUSE
Stedi is the only headless clearinghouse and RCM engine. Headless means every part of our product is accessible via API. Developers and AI agents build their own interface on top of it. By offering modern, AI-ready APIs alongside traditional real-time and batch EDI processes, we enable both healthcare technology businesses and established players to exchange mission-critical transactions. Our clearinghouse product and customer-first approach have set us apart. Stedi was ranked by Ramp https://ramp.com/data/top-saas-vendors-on-ramp-march-2026 as one of the fastest-growing SaaS vendors.
Stedi has lightning in a bottle: engineers and designers shipping products week in and week out; a lean business team supporting the company's infrastructure; a passion for automation and eliminating toil; and $142 million in funding from top investors like Stripe, Addition, USV, Bloomberg Beta, First Round Capital, and more.
To see what we ship, watch the 2026 Stedi Keynote https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxyCUNAr9Y8. To learn more about how we work, watch our founder Zack's interview with First Round Capital https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IO6sR-i5rSs.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Our goal is to increase the number of direct payer integrations that we have by 100x over the next 12 months. This is a complex problem that involves massively parallelizing a process across many payers simultaneously – a process that includes legal agreements, technical implementation and testing, relationship building, and a general do-whatever-it-takes approach to keep payers moving through the pipeline.
We’re growing our Payer Network team and are looking for someone to own and execute this process end-to-end. Your goal is simple: establish direct connectivity with as many of our 3,000+ payer connections https://www.stedi.com/healthcare/network as possible, as quickly as possible. You’ll work directly with other senior leaders on one of Stedi’s highest-priority projects with opportunities to expand scope as you deliver against the payer roadmap.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Research payers to identify integration opportunities, including who they are, what lines of business they serve, which clearinghouses and connectivity methods they support, and who the right contacts are.
- Enrich and maintain payer data in our CRM so records are accurate, complete, and ready for outreach.
- Build and maintain a prioritized list of target payers based on established criteria. Run outreach to payers by email, phone, and LinkedIn to find the right contacts and secure initial conversations.
- Hand off qualified payer opportunities to the integrations team with clear context and next steps.
- Help build and improve Stedi’s payer development playbook, including research methods, outreach templates, and data standards.
- Find ways to automate and scale research and enrichment work.
- Build and foster relationships with key stakeholders at payers
WHO YOU ARE
- You have experience in healthcare. You have experience working with payers, clearinghouses, RCM businesses or healthcare providers
- You understand how payers work. You understand what drives payer decisions, like administrative costs, provider network needs, and compliance requirements, and you use that knowledge to prioritize targets and frame outreach around what matters to them.
- You’ve managed a large pipeline or multiple engagements simultaneously, staying on top of every thread. You are hyper-responsive and thorough. You manage a high volume of research and outreach at once, stay organized, and rarely drop a ball.
- You have exceptional client or partner-facing experience. You have prior experience in a role that requires relationship management combined with project management, such as consulting, partnerships, business development, or growth/expansion roles at high-growth companies.
- You move quickly. You respond with urgency, keep people updated on what you’re working on, and ask for help or feedback early.
- You are technically proficient. You pick up new tools quickly, are comfortable in a CRM and spreadsheets, and look for ways to automate repetitive work. You think in data, spot patterns and gaps, and use what you find to decide where to focus next.
- You turn research into insight. You have experience with research and reporting, and you’ve built your own AI-powered workflows or tools for reporting and analysis. You can take messy data and turn it into something the team can act on.
- You document everything. You write clear, thorough documentation so others can pick up where you left off. You’re skilled at gathering requirements, asking the right questions up front, and capturing what each payer needs so nothing gets lost in a handoff.
- You love the details. No task is too small if it moves a payer relationship forward.
- You do what it takes to get the job done. You are resourceful, self-motivating, self-disciplined, and don’t wait to be told what to do. You put in the hours.
