About the role

Senior Internal & Executive Communications Manager AI's ambitions keep outpacing the infrastructure and economics beneath it. WEKA exists to close that gap. The WEKA® NeuralMesh™ software platform gives enterprises, AI cloud providers, research teams, and frontier AI builders a unified foundation for AI training, inference, and agentic workloads, purpose-built for the inference economy. A growth-stage company backed by world-class investors, WEKA holds more than 170 patents and is trusted by the world's most ambitious AI builders and innovators. We're accountable, brave, collaborative, and customer-centric. These core values define how we work and win together. If we sound like your kind of people, join us! About The Role WEKA is seeking a Senior Internal & Executive Communications Manager. This is a builder role: you'll take what exists and turn it into a program, defining the infrastructure, cadences, and engagement strategies that shape how a fast-moving global company communicates with and inspires its people to do the best work of their careers. You'll also hold one of the best internal stories in tech: WEKA builds the infrastructure the AI era runs on, and your job is to make that real for the people building it. We practice what we preach: this team builds AI into how it writes, produces, and measures, and we expect the same from you, with editorial judgment sharp enough to know where the machines stop. Reporting to the VP of Corporate Marketing, you'll run flagship internal moments end to end, from our annual Company Kickoff, Quarterly All Hands, and Town Halls, to strategy and announcement rollouts that have to land right the first time. You'll operate as a trusted advisor to WEKA's senior leaders with the executive presence and judgment to counsel them through high-stakes moments. You'll spend your days in the rooms where hard decisions and messages are made. Composure, discretion, and polish aren't nice-to-haves; they're the job. Responsibilities Executive Communications and Programs - Produce WEKA's virtual internal events, including our annual Company Kickoff, quarterly All Hands, and monthly Town Halls, end to end, driving agenda and executive content development; providing talking points and preparation support; overseeing the run of show; coordinating webinars and production; and managing post-event surveys and follow-up. - Serve as a trusted communications counselor to senior executives, in close collaboration with the VP of Corporate Marketing, helping craft clear, credible internal messaging and presentations, talk tracks, change management plans, and organizational communications that stay on narrative and keep the company informed and aligned. - Build internal launch moments for company strategy, product milestones, news updates, and major announcements so employees hear the story with the same energy the market does. - Prepare leaders for high-stakes internal moments by anticipating employee questions, developing Q&A, and coaching responses and delivery. Internal Communications and Employee Experience - Own WEKA's internal channel strategy and editorial calendar, making deliberate choices about when a message needs Slack, email, video, or a live moment, and why. - Translate WEKA's corporate narrative for internal audiences so every employee can tell the company story with confidence. - Bring WEKA's AI story to life for employees, connecting where the company and the industry are headed to what it means for their work. - Partner with the People team on engagement and culture programming, bringing communications strategy and editorial craft to the moments they lead. Change and Sensitive Communications - Support organizational change communications with discretion and care, partnering with People, Legal, and Finance on planning, sequencing, message development, and manager enablement. - Contribute to issues and crisis communications preparedness, including pre-staged materials and internal escalation communications. Operations and Measurement - Create repeatable playbooks and templates for recurring programs, from CKO and All Hands to organizational announcements, so quality scales without heroics. - Build AI-assisted workflows across drafting, production, and measurement that raise the quality and speed of internal communications. - Turn readership, engagement, and message pull-through data into a story that drives decisions, with feedback loops that make every program sharper than the last. - Bring operational discipline to intake, planning, and cross-functional coordination so internal communications runs as a program, not a scramble. Qualifications - 8+ years of progressive experience in internal, executive, or corporate communications, with at least 3 years working directly with VP and C-level executives. - Executive presence and polish: composed in the room, credible one-on-one with senior leaders, and trusted with sensitive and confidential information. - Exceptional writing across formats, from a crisp company-wide email to a keynote outline to an organizational announcement where every word carries weight. - Experience producing large-scale internal events such as Company Kickoff, Sales Kickoff, and All Hands, including content development and production logistics. - Change communications experience under real conditions, not just frameworks. - A track record of building or materially elevating an internal communications program, with specific systems, cadences, or playbooks you can point to. - The range of a senior individual contributor: you can hold the strategic vision and still do the work at ground level, fast and well. - Demonstrated AI fluency: you use AI tools in your daily communications work and know where human judgment is non-negotiable. - Experience working in a global, high-growth company environment that’s scaling rapidly. Nice to Have - Experience working with a founder-led, enterprise software or deep tech company, preferably in the AI and/or data infrastructure industries. - Experience partnering with People or HR teams on culture and engagement programs. - Familiarity with internal communications measurement platforms and intranet analytics. - Video multimedia production experience. How We Work: Core Company Values - We're Accountable: We take full ownership, even when things don't go as planned. We lead with integrity and hold ourselves and each other to the highest standard. - We're Brave: We question the status quo, push boundaries, and take smart risks when needed. Challenges and debate are fuel for growth. - We're Collaborative: We lift each other up to succeed collectively. We communicate with empathy and challenge each other respectfully. We are transparent about our goals and results. Together, we're unstoppable. - We're Customer Centric: Our customers are at the heart of every decision we make. We listen to their needs and prioritize their success. When our customers win, we win. Concerned you don't meet all the qualifications? Don't let that stop you from applying. WEKA is committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace.
