FOIA Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a FOIA Analyst based in the United States. The FOIA Analyst will support a federal agency by managing complex Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests from initial review through final production. In this fully remote role, you will apply your knowledge of FOIA regulations and exemptions to evaluate records, identify responsive information, and ensure appropriate handling of sensitive or confidential materials. You will work with a high degree of independence while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with federal requirements. Your analytical and research skills will help ensure that information requests are processed efficiently and in accordance with established procedures. This opportunity is well suited to an experienced FOIA professional who understands federal information disclosure requirements and is comfortable navigating complex documentation. Although the position is currently remote, future arrangements may require hybrid or on-site work at a U.S. Department of Transportation office.
