Experience Without Limits
Come shape the future of brand experience.
At Jack Morton, we design and build head-turning, smile-inducing, impact-driving brand experiences that redefine what experiential marketing can achieve. We help our clients unlock the full value of experiences by turning bold ideas into meaningful connections.
That takes a team that's bold, curious, and acts as one. We build on each other's ideas, challenge conventions, and show up for one another every day. Here, you'll do your best work, grow quickly, and partner across clients, disciplines, and global teams to bring new ideas to life.
This is a place where curiosity drives what’s next, boldness raises the bar, and every win is shared. Where ownership is expected, egos are left at the door, and the work reflects the passion and talent of the people behind it.
Experience without limits—in your work, your growth, and your impact.
Great exhibits don't happen because someone can simply draw in CAD. They happen when technical minds turn creative concepts into precise, buildable solutions.
Jack Morton is looking for a CNC Programmer/CAD Detailer to bridge the gap between design and fabrication, developing detailed drawings, preparing CNC-ready files, and helping bring custom exhibits, trade shows, and experiential environments to life.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong CAD skills with a practical understanding of how things are built. You'll collaborate closely with Designers, Project Managers, and Fabricators to turn creative ideas into accurate drawings, efficient CNC programs, and fabrication-ready components.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain 2D and 3D CAD drawings, including plans, elevations, assembly details, and fabrication drawings.
- Translate creative concepts into accurate, buildable designs with dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware, and specifications.
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs and machine-ready files for fabrication.
- Prepare components and drawings for CNC cutting, assembly, transportation, and installation.
- Collaborate with Designers, Detailers, Project Managers, and shop-floor teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Verify drawings and CNC files for accuracy, feasibility, and efficient material use.
- Troubleshoot programming or detailing issues and make adjustments to improve production quality and turnaround.
- Maintain CAD libraries, CNC programs, templates, and standardized components.
- Identify opportunities to improve programming practices, detailing standards, shop efficiency, and consistency.
- Support fast-turn projects while balancing accuracy, deadlines, and changing priorities.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a technically minded professional who understands both the digital and physical sides of fabrication.
- Experience in CAD detailing, CNC programming, or a combination of both within exhibit fabrication, millwork, cabinetry, manufacturing, scenic production, or a related environment.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D; 3D CAD experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience creating, editing, or troubleshooting CNC programs and machine-ready files.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, EnRoute, Fusion, Cabinet Vision, or similar platforms.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, dimensions, materials, and fabrication specifications.
- Understanding of how designs translate into cutting, assembly, and finished components.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate with production teams and communicate technical information clearly.
- A proactive mindset, with an interest in improving processes, standardizing programs, and increasing fabrication efficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Last but not least, we believe in diversity, equity and inclusion.
Jack Morton is an equal opportunity employer; we strongly value diversity at our companies. We do not discriminate on race, religion, color, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, veteran status, or any other basis prohibited by law.
